I had a similar accident 8 years ago on my 1200 gs.Burst my t6 vertebra. After fusing my 567 I spent 3 months in a full spinal brace waist to neck. I was back riding as soon as I could. Also it took a while to get my confidence back riding in the dirt again. I also had a good mate who was sympathetic to my hesitancy off road after my accident. I never contemplated not riding again. I’ve had lots of adventures since and still love riding as much as I ever did. Well done in your comeback. Great videos.

I currently ride a tiger 900 GT Pro. Took one for a test ride yesterday and was absolutely amazed at how this bike handled from a middle weight to heavy weight bike. I was so impressed have ordered one for January delivery fully loaded ASA version triple black with gold wheels. Always found the size of GS’s intimidating but this version is a game changer with the adaptive height control.

Great review, Garry. ASA is going to be controversial but not aligned with a GSA. Cruiser, maybe. Gear changes seemed a bit harsh on my test ride around the suburbs. How do you think it will go in stop, start journeys ?
@pslegends
@pslegends 12 күн бұрын
I forgot to mention. Suddenly, the 1250 seems like a desirable and more attractive GSA for the traditionalist. That said, look forward to upgrading to a GS one day from my Himi

Thanks you. Yes agree that the shifts are a bit harsh but I think it will get better as the bike runs in. It a dream to ride in traffic, instant power when you pull off and easy to lane filter as well. Definitely some pros there.

The ASA is subjective indeed. That what they said when the standard shift was subsumed by the automatic shift with cars a long time ago. That is called progress. Yes, the ASA is "my cup of tea" as they say. My nose stopped rubbing the ceiling a long time ago.

What you did up top with that key was like putting your foot in the door way and then saying the door will not close. You did not place the entire key and its ring inside that case. The seemed to be why you could not close that lid. :)

Gurby, doesn’t the alternator charge the batter when the engine is running?
@AdvExOz
@AdvExOz 20 күн бұрын
Absolutely! The alternator is like the engine's personal battery charger, working overtime to keep the lights on-literally! Sometimes you can end up with a flat battery for various reasons: 1. aging battery 2. Battery drainage because you didn't turn something off (Light, charger, heated grips) 3. Prolonged storage of the motorcycle without use also causes the batter to discharge over time. Now this is when the TR100 comes to safe the day!!

Hello, yes it will. Summers in Australia get quite hot too and this device has been tested to work in temperatures up to 60 degrees Celsius. I personally haven't tested up to 60 but I have used it up to 38 degrees Celsius with no issues. They also have a sun shade that I highly recommend. Helps keep direct heat off the screen.
