I use a copper based system in my above ground pool. chlorine will destroy your liner over time. why not just maintain your pool year round?

I've used Voda fans for years and they work great. I have 2 large ones and get them from a mail order place that sells to the Amish and people living off the grid.

Great video! Was your MDF shiplap pre-primed or raw? We will be installing in our bathroom because we like the smooth surface and how well it looks painted. Many "internet experts" say don't use it in a bathroom due to moisture. However I have read many that have used it and have no issues whatsoever years later because the boards were painted. Also when you go to some of the hardware store websites that sell MDF shiplap, they have pictures of it being used on bathroom walls - go figure.

You can, but gluing isn't necessary to install the tongue & groove planks. Nailing them to the studs will hold just fine.

Very helpful. We have had an opportunity to buy a used one, but one which will be rebuilt/refreshed. My wife and I fell in love with the beauty of it, a perfect fit for our 1771 cape house. Not just the look though but the functionality, i.e. long even burn. Regular wood stoves, especially in houses not open concept, like ours, over heat one room while others remain cooler. We believe this one will fit the bill perfectly. Ours will not have the ‘combuster’ which although does seem to have its benefit, over time as is the case with all modern products, will need replacing. It is not an inexpensive replacement part ($1000). Same for Vermont Casting, Yotul etc. One might suspect a sales gimmick. Not only that, I’ve been told you really should stick to certain woods to burn if your stove has this feature. Thankfully, in our case we have lots of wood choice and without the combuster we’ll not need to be as fussy.
We love this stove, just started the first fire of the second season we've had it. Great investment

I've noticed since becoming an RVer. I'm the driver, mapper, setup, griller, troubleshooter, repairer, breakdown, and the guy that fields all negative comments and complaints at my campsites. Is this the same for any other guys out there?😂😂

I find that my HH is lacking airflow and always puts smoke into the room when opening the door or starting a fire. The fire has to be blazing hot to prevent this. Never had this issue with my previous stoves.. underwhelmed by performance... installer can't explain why.. stack has 2x45 elbows 5 feet above stove then a run of straight 20'

What do you mean prime the pump before turning it on for the first time? Thanks I’m a newbie😅
@SilverLiningDayDreams2 ай бұрын
Hello and welcome! What I mean by priming the pump is add water to the pump strainer housing. Priming helps to get the air out by replacing it with water. Hope this helps! Happy swimming!

My brand new Heritage will not draw at all. During startup I’ve literally had cardboard go out before burning up completely when I shut the door. I don’t know if it’s a stove problem or a pipe problem but I had both professionally installed. Very weird. Yes, I’ve quadruple checked air intake lever position as well as catalytic converter handle position. Frustrated with it.

Someone may have said it but to stay down in the water while you apply the tape, empty your lungs of air and you’ll sink down with no issue. Hold your breath while at the pool floor. I just applied mine now. No weights required.

Yes, that’s true if you can! Unfortunately with my asthma the pressure on my lungs is too great and can trigger an asthma attack. So, I’ve learned to make adjustments over the years. I probably should have explained that better in the video! Cheers!

The pump motor is already grounded within the pump cord, and our outlet is a GFI. We tried a floaty in the pool, but the ducks use it for their own personal dock! Lol!

Man $6000 for 11 days seems crazy expensive
@SilverLiningDayDreams2 ай бұрын
11 days with 8 adults works out to about $68 a day for each person. This particular group were mainly coaches and athletes and really liked being able to cook meals, and enjoy a bbq on the back deck plus have extra room to relax for that many days together. Event pricing is usually much higher than normal. That’s why we typically only rent our home during events!
