I loved this album when I first heard it, then the internet brainwashed me into hating it, but then I listened to it again recently and remembered that it’s awesome. Strange Brew is one of their best songs. Album needs a remaster to fix compressed muddiness (which I hear they’re doing) and then it’ll be perfect. I don’t understand how people can love something like ICV and trash Sorceress. 2/3 of the songs on ICV sound like Dave Grohl wrote them. All of the songs on Sorceress sound like Mikael wrote them. Do you want Foo Fighters or do you want Opeth? I mean really dude c’mon.

The intro to the album is so beautiful and gets me excited for the album. It’s growing to be one of my favorite Opeth albums.

At the end you could see Axe was the only one who knew how to drink Scotch properly: neat, smelling it first, and the sipping it. M and J just downed it-barbarians!

They did, the 2nd half of the solo is his. They just re-recorded it after this video was made
