@@Keller_Ranchthat’s good to know. Looks like it does. Is it a diesel model?
@Keller_Ranch2 ай бұрын
Yep, its got the Perkins diesel. We have been using it quite a few years and it rarely gives us problems.

One year when we had the farm we took the square baler out to bale some tremendous good hay and we had 2 times up and down the field left to bale and the flaming baler blew up so i had to go and buy a new baler i came back with a John deere 3320 and what a bloody great baler she was by heck she could put it through in no time at all mate

Wow, interesting story! John Deere definitely has made some really nice square balers.

Looks like you guys made some nice hay. I've seen some guys with much newer and bigger equipment just make junk.

Thanks for the video, it's good to see someone using smaller equiptment; I can relate to that.

I agree. In my 65 years of making hay, I have found that it is much easier to judge the distance from obstacles on the first pass cutting around the outside of a field to drive clockwise. This puts the left side of the tractor to the outside instead of the far end of the mower conditioner. For me it’s much easier to judge the distance away from fences and brush on the outside swipe. It all has to be cut anyhow. Just my thoughts. Keep up the good work.

When my brother first started baling hay he baled square bales. One of his fields was so big every 4th round he made enough money to buy and pay for a new New Holland baler to speed up the process. ❤😊

When the round bales look like that you know you got some good hay. ❤

This year we averaged about 1.4 lambs per ewe but it could be higher if they would have been on higher quality feed.
@timmgildernick24285 ай бұрын
Hello - What size do you buy your feeder lambs at, and what size do you sell them? Thankyou
@Keller_Ranch5 ай бұрын
We buy them soon after they are weaned. We typically sell over winter when prices are best so they vary in weight. Our lambs that were born this spring we'll feed all summer and sell this coming winter at probably 80-100 lbs. Thanks for watching :)
