Originally it is 40cm, but I would recommend crochet and block it before buying a hoop. So you could buy the right size.

Hello! I follow your channel. You make wonderful mandalas. Your channel is a gift to us. I would like to make a request: that you inform us at the beginning of the video, the final size of the mandala so that we can have an idea in advance of how it will turn out. Here where I live, I have difficulty finding hoops in large sizes and many times I don't make the mandala because I don't know if I will later find the hoop in the right size for it. I apologize for any mistakes in the writing. I speak Portuguese and used the translator to write. I need to make a mandala with 8 points to put on an umbrella. Hello and thank you for your kind words! All info about the project can be found in Details section as well as the final size of the mandala. But thing is that we all crochet differently. Crochet hook size, yarn, mood, loose or tight crochet - all this can affect the final size on the project. That's why I would recommend to block mandala before buying a hoop. At this point you will know for sure if it fits or not. I have never tried to make an umbrella from my mandalas so I can't recommend any of them at the moment. Hope you will find the one you like!

Happens as we all have different style of crochet. If you have changed yarn, size of a hook - this also matters. May be it is better to block first and measure your mandala, then order proper hoop after that. Hope there won't be any surprises with your next make!

Thank you for letting us know. Yes, there should be 8 petals, not 9. This mistake was made during the shooting of this video. Please double check that you have 8 petals in the end.

I just use some of the middle of the yarn cake in the center of mandala and then cut the yarn and start with the next transition color, and if that one starts looking like to much, I cut again and start with the next color in the cake. Works wonderfully, I did one and ran out of yarn in the cake so I did the final rounds with the left over yarn I had from the center of the cake.

Hi! This is very wonderful like every things u do!!!! but I have a question; If I need to do this in a circle of 30cm how I can 'remove' some cm for the final result?

Thank you so much! This particular design is not so easy to make smaller as each round is "needed" to complete the pattern. You may try not to crochet a few last rounds and see if you like it or not. Also you can try to change yarn from 4ply to 3ply (Crochet UK) but I can't tell you the exact size you will get. Smaller - yes. Will it fit 30cm hoop? - you will need to crochet and check that. Worked on some of my mandalas. I hope my answer will help.

On row 5 do i start with 3 SC ch3 picot and 2SC? I noticed that you make 3 sc ch3 2sc. But the captions say 2sc ch3 2sc. I love your tutorials and the designs. Do you have a Mandala called Luna? Or could you do a Crescent 🌙 Mandala? Just asking, Luna is my granddaughters name. And I would love to make one in her honor!

This is beautiful, I did it with a thicker yarn, so it ended up bigger... so I only used the middle part, but it is still lovely! I did find it a little tricky to follow because it was so small (the work within the video) so maybe you could zoom in more in future videos? Very nice though, regardless.
