We, as people, were given the ability to choose to accept God's grace. Deuteronomy 30:19: "I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live. God desires us to choose Him so that we may live 💙

@ I guess you can believe that but I see what God says as the Truth and not a choice. I don’t believe we are given a choice. The words ‘you shall not eat’ is not a choice…. “but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”… There is no choice! God said ‘Do not eat, Do not murder, Do not lie, Do not steal, Do not reject or Deny my Son and His Salvation. You WILL die! None of that is a Choice. That is Truth. The devil makes people believe they have a choice and it leads to deception and death. To believe Death, Hell, and Eternal Punishment is a choice means you are in bondage to a lie. Moses wrote that passage in Deuteronomy and is speaking. It’s not a choice. Life or Death is not a choice. Only deceived people hear it as a choice. You nor I are deceived. The Gospel OPENED our Eyes to SEE The Truth and the Truth about the Goodness of God in Christ has captured our Minds and Hearts. We now SEE The Way, The Truth and The Life. Peter was no longer deceived when he answered Jesus… 67So Jesus asked the Twelve, “Do you want to leave too?” 68Simon Peter replied, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life. 69We believe and know that You are the Holy One of God.” The devil is a liar and presents a false way as if it’s a legitimate choice. There is NO Choice. Jesus is The Only Way. So Proclaim Him with Confidence, Faith and in Love. Don’t lay the Gospel at people’s feet as a Choice. Proclaim the Gospel as The Truth.

Salvation is based on what you believe. If you believe on the blood of Jesus Christ, and have confessed with your mouth and believe with all your heart, then God says you are sealed until the day of redemption and no man pluck you out of my hand. That is a secure salvation once saved always saved no matter what you do because nothing you did mattered for the salvation either. It’s all about what Jesus did..
