most people dont realize the added challenge these guys have with themselves on this challenge by being vegetarian that makes eating much more challenging .

why didn’t you mention discovering connection at all? they did this exact thing with the exact title first, so I feel they should be credited at least a little.

Great job on the climbing, Laurie; you looked as if you have been doing that for a long time. I have been following along from the start (but I fell way behind in watching the videos). It is a fascinating thing you are doing. I find it commendable that you took the time to discuss your philosophy behind that mission. Alone time is so very important, the two of you have been inseparable for 23 days now; that is a king-term commitment -- that the two of you can find alone time is amazing. The late pianist Glenn Gould held the belief that for every hour you spend with people requires you to spend 1 3/4 hours alone. That is nearly impossible in this journey the two of you are taking. The discourse felt like sitting in on a private conversation.

You said you had a videographer for Day 30 for the drone, ok. But all the other days, who took videos of both of you when you were both in the shot? Even on Day 1, when you were both on the beach, it wasn't a stationary camera when you were looking for clothes, so clearly someone was filming you guys. Who was that person that came along but we never got to see? Your brother Alex? Where did that person stay during the night?

I'm happy that you achieved your goal safely. I waited until the end of your journey to share some information with you as to why maybe your viewership was so low. There was another individual on KZbin who conducted your same theme journey a year earlier and had hundreds of thousands of views. The KZbin channel is "Discover Connection" and the title is "I Survived on the Kindness of Strangers for 30 Days"

I absolutely love this human experiment. I think that most people, if approached in a kind way, would want to help another person. I know I would. It all depends upon how the person in need approaches someone. All in all, it's an interesting experiment. I'm so happy that you were able to get a motel room for the night!

I've been enjoying it so much to watch you guys on your journey! It seems like you are very much in sync at this point, talking about belonging, struggling together and motivating each other. It's awesome that you share your thoughts and feelings with the world. I have learned so much from you, and I feel connected to you because of your honesty and your reflections, your trust and willingness to be vulnerable. That's an awesome feeling. Thank you for that. All the best to you on your paths.

Hello Elia and Laurie, I accidentally discovered your channel and journey on 2 Aug. and watched every video from beginning to end, it took me quite a few hours of watching through the night. I will most probably never get to see the USA, but following your journey I got such an impession of what the States look like from E to W. What an awesome country ! The way the Americans reacted to you did not surprise me a bit, you are 2 wonderful young guys, genuine and honest. And it tells me a lot about the Americans as a nation: generous, friendly and always ready to reach out a helping hand. This series of videos on your adventure touched me in my deepest heart. Greetings, admiration and respect from South Africa. Marius.

Thank you for sharing your journey. You've reminded me that there is still good people out there. About 12 years ago we started a weekly gift circle and communal meal here in Fairfax, CA but people moved on, passed on or. just lost interest, I like the way you guys did it, you just asked. Good to know the concept is still going. BTW Question: Who took the drone footage?
