Did Ronnie had a cold? Not really great with singing here. Normally he is better.

King should tour the entire "The Eye" album, complete with Stage Sets and costumes for each song.

Sounded great! Is the old man to the left Kerry?
@SuperAterrell29 күн бұрын
@PerJohansson-Xeizo no; Kerry retired 20 years ago, that's Rich Williams who was the only original member on stage

Any Kansas fan knows that the plight of the earth and the native Americans has always been a topic of their songs. That's fine. Some people sing about love, some sing about cars, some sing about off the wall topics, "Song for America" is the best American prog song out there, and I'm a conservative Republican. Sadly, Kansas is almost a tribute band at this point. I'm sorry Robbie passed, I'm sorry Kerry had a stroke, I'm sorry Phil had a heart attack, I'm sorry Steve's voice wouldn't let him sing the way he used to, but in their day....a mighty fine band. Thanks for the music guys!

it seems like he's totally forgetting to sing certain parts, he did that on Arrival at the first show too

Lol King made a good point, especially evident in their first show of the tour. He definitely doesn't use a backing track for his vocals!
@PolentaccioАй бұрын
His vocals are more labored this time for sure..compare it to 3 or 4 years ago and it is sad to see the effect age is finally taking on a guy who has done this so long at such a high level. Still puts on a good show but appears to have a harder time with certain passages. I also think that there are too many consecutive shows back to back. I know they do this to maximize shows on a tour and for revenue but so many back to back nights ( sometimes 3 in a row) is going to be hard to come back from with only a day rest. Hoping his voice doesn't "burn" out too quickly as I am seeing them in 2 weeks..

Much better than the first show. Still forgetting where to sing though...
@vladtepes9614Ай бұрын
He was pretty on point with the singing here. Myrkur did some of the vocals (she was a bit hard to hear) and he let the crowd do some. I imagine it's hard to make it sound just like the studio version without getting winded.
@janmartinek6647Ай бұрын
@@vladtepes9614 he didn't sing the whole middle section from 2:48, where Myrkur did the higher harmonies where she was supposed to, and I kind of doubt it was on purpose. The same thing happened in Arrival the night before. Guess we all have to accept the fact he's pushing 70 and we're lucky he's still able to tour.

Lyrics: Wake up man it's late but not too late, It's six o'clock like everyday! Get your things run and forget the rain, Take power pills don't miss your train! And you'd like to be another A different guy and a better lover For your love, for your life check your way. And you like the rock 'n' roller A different life and whiskey Cola But don't be low keep your own style And catch your train! Don't be lazy man and work off your ass, He's the boss you've gotta do what he says! Catch your train, run and forget those ways, Keep it cool it's not too late! And you'd like to be another A different guy and a better lover For your love, for your life check your way. And you like the rock 'n' roller A different life and whiskey Cola But don't be low keep your own style And catch your train!
