@robotcactus_mk1882 thanks for watching and asking a question for further explanation. The one button is the "Traction Control" on/off. The other button is the "Hill Descent Control" indicator. Hill descent control allows the driver to set and maintain vehicle speed while descending steep slopes in various surface conditions. The system can maintain vehicle speeds on downhill slopes between 5-32 km/h (3-20 mph). Above 32 km/h (20 mph), the system remains on but the descent speed cannot be set or maintained.

Usually people preferred their carplay android to iPhone and use their fav music apps as alternatives. I am looking forward to using that feature. Thanks for sharing the other alternative radio. Definitely will be handy. Theres also use of voice option 3 free month w/ Alexa paying though it can help you with everything on the infortainment system. Pretty cool!

Jim good video my console only has 3 logos ?? On the top urs are 4 ?? If your truck does not have this option, it will be a little different. I am not sure which logos you are referring to and why you have 3 and the one in the video has 4. Our 2024 had a bad fuel injector, and when we got it back from the dealer the mirrors no longer auto-folded. We only had the car for a week, and they had to change the entire engine because a part of the fuel injector fell inside the engine. The dealer had it for 3 months, so I couldn't remember if the mirrors auto-folded or not. My wife insisted that they did, and that's when I found your video, and was able to solve the issue. Thank you Sir!

I just bought my 2024 Ford Maverick and since it doesn’t come with a printed manual, it makes it difficult to look up my questions. 90% of the videos on KZbin that have to do with this vehicle or peoples opinions on whether or not it was a good vehicle to buy. Thanks! I recently bought a 2023 and was wondering how to get the HUD to show up. Mines a Loaded Reserve without the Dynamic Handling. So I'm support to get the Ambient lighting. But it never works. Is there some setting I have to enable to get it to work? I've gone into the Pad and selected the colors and move them each all the way up. But no colors ever appear in the car. The only time I ever see a light is when I enter or leave and it's only illuminating the rocker plate and a slight light up of the ring in the cup holders. But it's just a bright white.

I also have a 2024 Ford Escape ST Line. Is there any way to keep the radio on for more than 10 minutes without the engine running? In my 2010 Fusion, I could do this just by turning the key one click forward, and it wouldn't be in full accessor mode, but the radio stayed on. In my 2024 Escape, everything shuts down after 10 minutes, in full accessory mode. With everything off, I can hit the power button, and the radio comes on, but again, for only 10 minutes. One of the things I like to do is just lay back and listen to the radio in my car. I have the same type of screen shown here.

@Nhamp2000 to the best of my knowledge unless you actually start the vehicle, the power accessory mode will just stay on for 10 minutes. I guess Ford is trying to make sure you do not drain the battery prematurely.

Probably because the Ford escape no longer have the key option all keyless remote. After you shut off your car power it will listen for a little bit but it will shut off to conserve. It's nothing like the key option many years ago which you can do.

@doggiesable1 the reverse sensing system should start making warning signals when you are 6 feet away from an object. As you get closer, the beeps should increase in frequency. Then when you get within a foot of the object, it should switch from beeps to a long continuous alarm sound until you either hit the object or take the vehicle out of reverse.
