Contexts and stuff: In August 24, 79 AD the volcano near the city of Pompeii had erupted, causing people's bodies to either be plastered or to burn at a horrifying 4000°, after an excavation, archeologists found a skeleton with a full set of armor, which was believed to be a soldier saying at his post until the toxic smoked killed him or he was burned, hence the painting's name.

Your channel should be called The Silly Spooky Science Sisters as you ladies can’t stop giggling! Actually it wasn’t too bad! Isn’t science supposed to debunk the strange and supernatural? It’s either the truth or it’s not.

The X files used to come on TV straight after the Simpsons. So i was always allowed to watch. With my feet firmly tucked on the sofa! I was so scared

When thinking of the Fermi pardox. You have to put time into the equation as well. I ask you, how long does a civilization survive? Say about 10,000 years( a guess) . The universe is 14.8 billion years old. So how many increments of 10,000 are there in 14.8 billion. So a civilization is in existence for this little sliver of 10,000 yrs in this universe of 14.8 billion yrs. So think about it. What are the chances that we , a civilization while floating through space will see life on another world, microbial or advanced. We each have this little sliver of time. And the universe is so big. Also if we do get a chance to see life on another planet or they see us. Will we be advance enough to see them or them see us. TIME is the only thing, I haven't heard alot of when talking about Fermi paradox. Just saying🙂

Solid ball of metal ....so you know a metal that won't melt at 10 million degrees ? Or form crystals under emense pressure ? What about convective mantle plumes ? Are they spinning to?
@nick_her134 Жыл бұрын
Well the pressure at that distance compacts it very tight so this makes it too dense to melt.
@spookysciencesisters Жыл бұрын
High pressure increases the melting point of substances that would otherwise be molten at the surface. Convection in the mantle is a separate process than the overall rotation of the Earth.
