I owned a 1958 Edsel Ranger. It ran well and was just fine. It was very comfortable car to drive. It came out when the economy was struggling. It had a lot of nice features and pretty good power. It wasn't a flop as in being a bad car, the car market was crowded.

Check again please The Seat 124 is a classic car produced by Seat, a Spanish automaker, from 1968 to 1980. It was based on the Fiat 124, and various engine options were available during its production run. Here are some of the engines that powered the Seat 124: 1. 1.2L inline-four cylinder (1968-1973) - 60 horsepower 2. 1.4L inline-four cylinder (1973-1979) - 75 horsepower 3. 1.6L inline-four cylinder (1979-1980) - 85 horsepower 4. 1.8L inline-four cylinder (1979-1980) - 95 horsepower (only available in the Seat 124 Sport) These engines were fueled by carburetors and had a 4-speed manual transmission as standard. Some models also had a 5-speed manual or a 3-speed automatic transmission option. The Seat 124 was known for its reliability, fuel efficiency, and performance, making it a popular choice in Spain and other European countries.

Yes, the Jaguar X-Type is often considered one of the biggest car flops in history, and for good reason. @Revived-Legends7 Ай бұрын
That's correct! The Fiat 500 and the Fiat Panda share the same platform, which is the Fiat Mini platform. This platform is a modular architecture that allows for flexibility in design and engineering, and it has been used as the basis for several Fiat models, including the 500, Panda, and Lancia Ypsilon. The shared platform allows for commonality in components and manufacturing processes, which can help reduce costs and improve efficiency. However, each model has its own unique characteristics, design, and features, so while they share a common foundation, they are distinct vehicles with their own personalities.

The blackwood is what brought us higher lux versions of standard trucks, it was a test and it was successful at what they where looking for. Would truck buyers pay more for more lux, and the answer is yes
@Revived-Legends7
@Revived-Legends7 Ай бұрын
The Lincoln Blackwood was a pioneering vehicle that helped pave the way for luxury trucks. Introduced in 2002, it was a test bed for Lincoln to gauge consumer interest in a high-end pickup truck. By offering premium features like leather seats, wood trim, and advanced technology, the Blackwood showed that truck buyers were willing to pay more for luxury and refinement. The Blackwood's success led to a shift in the market, with other manufacturers following suit by introducing their own luxury truck models. Today, luxury trucks are a staple in the automotive industry, with many brands offering high-end trims and features like heated and cooled seats, advanced infotainment systems, and premium materials. The Blackwood's impact on the market can be seen in the popularity of luxury trucks like the Ford F-150 Limited, Ram 1500 Laramie, and GMC Sierra Denali. These trucks offer a combination of capability, comfort, and technology that resonates with buyers who want a premium driving experience.

I think I've found a skeptical EV enthusiast! 😂 You're right, the Renault Twizy and Smart Fortwo Electric Drive (also known as the Smart ED or Smart Fortwo Electric Cabrio) are not exactly known for their practicality or efficiency, especially compared to other EVs on the market. The Twizy, in particular, is more of a quirky, urban runabout with a unique design. And the Smart Fortwo, while a great city car, has its limitations in terms of range and space. But hey, at least they're trying to offer some alternative transportation options, right? 🚀 And who knows, maybe one day we'll have more advanced, practical, and efficient EVs that'll make you laugh with joy instead of skepticism!
@The-Rectifier

@Revived-Legends7 Its not a " skeptical" view on EV , but regrettably enough the hars reality. Long as EV cars ( etc..), dependance on heavy batteries...and always carry that " huge lump" arroud, there will be kind of, lets just say : weight is the enemy of the ( fuel) elec consump . That's just basic knowledge. Agree, It's time the World need to do something about the environment etc...however, I personally think that the classic engines, still have a lot in them, nobody explores and can compeed , with EV models. Till the massive battery issue is solves...let's never forget, a lot of electricity is still created in classic plants, who use...Indeed, that's my point. Beeing green deusnt mean, we're good busy😊

@Revived-Legends7
@Revived-Legends7 Ай бұрын
This can sometimes lead to confusion, especially when dealing with measurements like distance, weight, or volume. But it's important to note that both systems have their own logic and consistency, even if they differ from each other. In the context of cars, for example, you might see measurements like horsepower (hp) or miles per gallon (mpg) used in the US market, while elsewhere, you might see kilowatts (kW) or liters per 100 kilometers (L/100km) used instead.

Oh well, they at least all begin with "M". 😅🤣😂 07:09 Re: The AMC Matador Clipper "By 1975, the clipper models were seen as diluting Packard's marketing as a luxury automobile marque". That would have been difficult, since Packard had been out of production since 1959, so there was no "marketing" to dilute. It's clear, because of constant mis-pronounced words, the the audio track is A.I. generated. That's fine, but you might want to create a voice that does not sound like and 18 year-old boy. @Revived-Legends7
@Revived-Legends7 Ай бұрын
That's a great point! With modern technology and automation, it's definitely possible for car manufacturers to revive classic designs and update them with modern features and performance. In fact, some manufacturers have already done this with cars like the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and Dodge Challenger, which have been redesigned to incorporate modern technology while still paying homage to their classic roots. Additionally, there are also companies that specialize in creating modern replicas of classic cars, using modern materials and technologies to improve performance, safety, and reliability. These cars are often referred to as "restomods" or "continuation cars." It's great to hear that you'd love to see modern remakes of cars from the 30's and 40's! Those eras produced some truly iconic and beautiful cars, and updating them with modern features would be a fantastic way to bring their classic style and charm to a new generation of car enthusiasts. Some potential candidates for modern remakes could include: - The 1937 Cord 812 Phaeton - The 1940 Ford Coupe - The 1936 Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic - The 1941 Lincoln Continental - The 1939 Chevrolet Master Deluxe These cars are just a few examples of the many amazing classic cars that could be updated with modern technology and features. Who knows, maybe one day we'll see a modern remake of one of these classics!
