I got my first period the first day of a horse camp,(it was bring your own horse and tack and stuff so I at least wasn’t gonna bleed on someone’s stuff) and I had to use a tampon for the first product I ever used, but like my instructor(just for the week, I didn’t know her) wouldn’t let me go to the bathroom and I bled through, luckily they were black but rip my saddle, there’s still a stain

It is really moving to hear the cry in his voice and the way he talks about Hickstead, the "horse of his life", especially given Eric's whole history. Tim Danson told about them, “If you were to see Hickstead in a stall or wherever, just alone and relatively calm, I can’t tell you how many times I saw where Eric suddenly comes on the scene and this horse goes crazy, just like a dog! He starts moving his head, he moves his feet... When you see (Lamaze and Hickstead) behind the scenes and you see the relationship between the two of them, it’s really a golden moment.” No doubt he really made sure Eric was safe even in his death. Very touching story indeed.

He made the horse win the gold medal for him. But the jumps will become higher and the horses will be made to jump higher. I wonder if the horse was given stimulants?
@mariachowning1276

Horses are tested for drugs before events like these. The blood tests are insanely accurate and can detect even a small amount of stimulants in the body.

Hickstead won competitions because he wanted to and was competitive! Not because he was forced! Many riders passed hickstead up they thought he was to small and could never jump a big oxer, but Eric saw something in him. Together, they became legends! Hicksteaf loved to jump. Eric and Hickstead had an incredible bond! Eric loved that horse!

Never Forgotten, Always Remembered with Respect, Dignity and Pride that Hickstead represented Canada so well on so many occasions. We will Always Remember Hickstead in the same category as Big Ben, Ridden by Ian Miller. Enjoy the Alyssian Fields, run, eat, be strong, play with Ben, until we meet again. From Ontario, Canada, Jenn.
