La plus grosse branlée de ma vie, c'était avec Max, à la Digue. "Là, on a pris un bon 4 mètres creux sur la gueule !", qu'il m'avait dit. Son gun est remonté en 3 morceaux. Je me suis vu mourir. Il s'en souvient même plus... 🤣🤣🤣

Merci beaucoup Eric. Hopefully You will be able to surf some fun waves while there arnd and enjoy the French cuisine afterwards. Plan to get another 7' pintail even better than the excellent one I got to barrel ride in Indo in 1994.

I sanded Erics boards in the late 80`s early 90`s at Bill Barnfields factory in Haleiwa. He had an insightful sign on his shaping room door that read, SHAPES $100. IF YOU HELP $200. I could always tell it was an Arakawa by how EASY it was to sand. No lumps or bumps . Just clean flowing line. I remember when I finished one of his boards, he came and took it, then returned to my room with the board and with a big smile he said "nice edges". Made my month... Great shaper , great guy.

🤣🤣🤣Et toi tu n’as pas compris que c’est du second degré… que c’est du chambrage entre une bonne bande de potes, entre les meilleurs surfeurs des annéees 80 et 90 ceux qui ont participé au lancement de l’industrie du surf en France et en Europe, les prémices du surf pro ceux qui raflaient les coupes de France et autres titres EPSA en défendant les couleurs de leur surf club en finissant tous au bar ensembe après la compet. Mais pour que tu n’aies pas compris ça, tu dois être un de ces nouveaux surfeurs, sans culture , un pauvre kooks avec sa combi et sa planche olaian achetées chez Décatlhon… Pourtant Gotcha te l’avait bien dit : if you don’t surf… don’t start.🤣🤣🤣🤣
