Smart bear. It knew about pickup trucks and that a picnic basket could be in the bed.

one suggestion for next year is post someone in the back of the pack with radio coms to the guys leading the pack. This year at the tunnel about 15 bikes got left behind after someone had a problem in the tunnel a stall i believe newer rider. We caught back up luckily people on the sidewalks were pointing the way for us you guys were about 2 turns ahead of us and we all know the pack does not stop but when your alone or seperated you now have to stop for red lights etc. Just saying some people may not be from GR and not know there way back to the starting event area. Or they have bikes that may not be legal and are now without the protection and shield of the pack. Still a blast but just a thought for next year thanks for hosting such a FIRE event I cannot speak highly of it enough.

I think people realize bears belong and live there. I think it's exciting for them to see something you don't see everyday. It's no different than tourist seeing a shark when visiting the beach.
