i loved Disgaea series but 6 just didnt do it.for.me because of the auto-fighting mechanic, you just speedfarm/grind through the game, you can choose to do it manualy but the system is there to abuse it 😂

5:51 that is Lisa Trevor from the RE1 remake. She was invincible and used to chase you in couple of areas of that game and was a boss fight.

Blue Dragon was my favorite Video game as a kid and to this day I still sometimes play it for nostalgia purposes

I wanted to like this game , but sadly it feels unfinished.

Havent played ys since i was a kid and honestly didnt play much of it. Just got ys viii on ps5 and ys origins on switch off ebay and i want to play them (and possibly ix) before X comes out. My childhood and teenage love for jrpgs has come back recently at 40 years old and ys is a series i want to get into. As well as the trails series.

Probably my favorite game of all time. I’ve been in love with this game ever since I can remember. I still remember how sick the box art looked in K-Mart’s game section lol first time my dad took me and let me pick out any game I wanted

I bought the PSP version the other day. Wondered if it was going to be any good, so I quickly searched for it, only to get smacked in the face by hours long retrospectives over how much people love this game 😅 wow!

This was one of my favorite games ever in the Xbox 360/PS3 era. I never even owned the game but I remember wanting it so badly and playing the demo many times in Gamestop. This game will forever be legendary to me.

It's funny that you mention it being a fine starting point into the series. Because it is, but at the same time may as well be the second worst game to star, story wise (and the worst one is a direct sequel). I just find a bit ironic how open is the series to newcomers, taking into consideration the other flagship of the developer (Nihon Falcom). Ah, and small correction, this is the tenth mainine game of the current series (Origin is mainline) and the fourteenth overall (counting the first 2 games as part of both). And right now it is the tenth adverture of Adol (if we consider Ys I & II as separate adventures), chronologically speaking. So where does the IX come from? Well, the adventures weren't "discoverer" chronologically to begin with. The numbering just reflects the release order, mixing the old and the new series.

I wished that Capcom updated this game more and adding more character costumes to the Raid mode characters and new skills for dlc characters like Wesker, Hunk I would love to play as wesker in Stars uniform and the Dark coat too.
