It’s as if the narrator has a deep understanding of the surface and a vague understanding of the entirety with his one musical bias that make this incredibly difficult to watch

Do You? Street Talking Woman? Do you know anything about ELO apart from what you are reading from a badly drafted script? Don't bother.

Great documentary! I look back at my life and the history of Devo and I can’t help to think how much they shaped me as a person. Devo gave me permission and the freedom to be who I wanted to be. No matter how weird or out of the norm. My mentality has not changed as I have aged. The band and the movement are genius.

Great docu about one of my favorite Bands. With the album "'shout"' and the following albums, imo, the fun and the drive was gone, became boring.

Pretty good summary. Not sure I agree with the folks clambering about “woke” stuff. It’s a conversation, people! It’s reasonable to have it to politely disagree. Steve was a kid who loved Ray Charles. Tried to sound like him. Nothing wrong with that. I’m modeled my batting stance after Jim Rice when I was a kid… Is that cultural appropriation? I don’t think so. It’s flattery if anything. Enjoy the video. Enjoy music. Thanks for putting this together. So glad to be seeing Steve play next month live!

That's a nice mini-documentary for all of us Jeff Lynne's fans, editing is interesting but the over dramatic song used background is too loud and it keeps annoying our experience watching it... as long as you can't use ELO songs only the narration over silence would've been a better choice.

as a huge DEVO fan myself, I’ve gotten this video in my suggested several times, and I finally decided to watch it and it wasn’t until I reached the end and looked at the views and comments that I realized how criminally underrated this channel is. the production quality and analysis are fantastic, I just assumed while I was watching that this already had hundreds of thousands of views. I never comment on KZbin videos but I felt compelled to leave this one just to say keep up the good work, spud. I’ll be eagerly awaiting your next mutation. Duty now!
