you aren't going to find a model company that's going to be 100% correct. there's going to be settle defrauds indicates on who made the model.

@@aloneinthedarkl159 I used to be a full-time product development/designer for Acme GMP as well as Franklin Mint working on the Diecast Model Car Programs with a total of 11 years experience. I handled the photoshoots, initial project specifications packages with all data submitted to the factories, I reviewed hundreds of hand made body shape and full prototype models, pre-production tooled samples, handled all the production graphics, packaging photography and graphics/concept, etc etc. I wore all the hats. What it comes down to is simple...being detail oriented, an eye for form and proportions, and aesthetics. Let's face it some people are definitely more talented and skilled than others. This particular car I'm extremely familiar with all the nuances, details and design of. Chip Foose was the guy who actually designed the exterior styling upgrades and look of Eleanor. There's a lot of mistakes that I see right away especially the awful engine detailing that make me put my wallet away after seeing the final model. These models aren't cheap and if I'm gonna shell out hundreds of dollars for these they need to be right. Maybe I'm just picky but it's just my 2 cents.

@@JohnnyGMachine Vous avez surement raisons sur certains détails mais je doit vous souligné que c'est le seul model qui existe a ma connaissance au 1/8' et le prix est tout a fait normal pour ce type de gamme. Donc oui comme vous le dite vous même vous êtes trop pointilleux... Cordialement. ;)

I have the same problem, I even took the wheels of too, to see if I had made a mistake in the construction, I hadn't.

@@colinchristie3118 I thought the same, I even wondered if once all the front end is assembled, the weight would help the rack and pinion connect better but I don’t believe that’s the case.

@@colinchristie3118 I’ve found what was causing the issue. Could be the same for you?

@@xOMastaPOx Yes the problem was solved. The teeth on the ttrack rod need to go under a tab so they can mesh with gear on the steering rod. You have to dismantle the track rod and reinstall it correctly.
