I understand your enthusiasm for this game. Nearly three weeks ago my fiancée and I found Buffalo & Friends for ourselves during a three-day stay at Harrah's Cherokee Casino and Resort in North Carolina. Our first try netted us $800 on $100 in. We were getting bonuses on single-coin triggers that first time. We went to get a drink and have lunch them returned to Buffalo & Friends three hours or so later. That's when things really got interesting. After holding our own winning around $600 on $100 in we got a four coin trigger for the bonus with all three games involved. I'm sorry that I didn't think to record it for posterity. We had all four screens with in excess of 45 free spins (I lost count). Twice, we had the three Wicked Winnings Lady sitting on three reels on two screens at the same time. We netted $3001 on $3.20/spin. We went to dinner after that win and called it a night. We went back to try the same Buffalo & Friends slot where we'd won big less than 24 hours before but we couldn't get anything good to shake loose. All of the firecrackers 🧨 were lit and we were dinging those with single and double coins but nothing tremendous happened on that third session. My fiancée and I agreed that we were _not_ putting our winnings back into a machine that had suddenly gone cold for us. We went around the corner and scored a nice hand pay on Buffalo Link out of the blue. Still, we talk enthusiastically of trying Buffalo & Friends when we go back to Harrah's in a couple of months.

I don't play this much anymore, but I somehow prefer the pigs because of the nudging wilds. Plus, there's a chance to retrigger. You did something similar years ago with Konami's credit prize!

I did, yes! Good memory. The point I was trying too make, and probably failed at it, was that picking one or the other will NOT result in the same win amount. However, over time, they will essentially average out to be the same. I too prefer the pigs - or the dynamite close. Have probably done better on the latter over the years. Thank man! :)

Whenever I can play this game I always go with the nudging games because you can get good wins and a chance at the pigs as well.

I'm so torn about that option because I've never gotten the pigs in the free spins lol But I'm more inclined to try with four bonus symbols - or even five because it rewards more free spins. Eventually I'll get the pigs in the free spins and that's all I'll do lol

I completely agree. It’s a unique feature that is fun to watch play out….plus, you get a chance at the grand jackpot which adds to the thrill. I guess technically you can get the grand in the free spins too (by getting the six pigs) but that’s tough. Thanks for the comment man!

$122.00 in 13 minutes... I'll take that all day, everyday! Those buy a bonus deals are usually bumpus for me. I quit doing them really quickly. This game looks like a good way to build points on the player's card. In casino terms, it keeps you at the hover point,.. little up little down little up little down. ❤ If you kept going, you would probably have gotten a slow burn down to zero. You're a good player, you know when to hold them and when to fold them.

Definitely agree...it's lower on the volatility scale so that makes complete sense. I'm not a fan of them either...it kinda takes the fun away of hunting for the bonus. I get the thrill but I sincerely hope that this isn't a huge trend. Line pays are already only 10% of the total wins so why even have reels at this point? lol

@@DproximaSlots You are correct about the line hits... They seem really weak these days. It seems like most new slots are progressives, which means the only way to get RTP is to get the bonus/progressive. My very first hand pay was on Great Eagle Returns, and it wasn't even a bonus, it was a line hit with the multiplier wilds with the Pocahontas symbol. $2 spin, $2500 handpay.

Thanks Kevin! I was the master of intros in the past so wanted to keep a semblance of yesteryear in my newer vids. I'll be working on more creative and fun intros for sure :) But regarding the game - with the progressives and the possibility of spreading those around via the Dash feature - there is a lot of potential with this IGT game - much like Light & Wonder's Hot Pots.
