Allow me to preface this by stating this is solely my opinion: Yunchan surpasses Pogorelich and Horowitz here. I cannot think of a more compelling and tasteful interpretation of the Pictures than Yunchan's.

If you want to hear a perfect presentation of the piece, you’re better off training an AI. It will sound leagues better than anything any musician has ever played. But if you want to hear a musician’s music, you’re better off understanding that this is completely acceptable and has been for the last 300-400 years.

That's what interpretations are called. You certainly don't want to listen to cookie cutter works of the composition, bec it'd be quite boring to play by the textbook. Yunchan is quite known to add his personal touches in not just that piece, but mostly all the works he plays. For example, he added his personal interpretations in Rach 3 live concerts with the ossia. Horowitz added extra notes to the works, and I understand why Yunchan loves Horowitz so much.
