Son nom complet avec prénom est Huang Xuan. Sa performance durant cet épisode 9 est très probablement la plus sage parmi celles des autres épisodes. Il est habituellement franchement plus déjanté que ça. Ceci dit, dès qu'il est apparu beaucoup de gens, moi le premier, ont pensé que ce Taïwanais était de loin le chanteur le plus intéressant de cette saison un peu décevante (ça s'est quand même un peu amélioré à partir de l'épisode 6). Dans deux jours, nous verrons s'il continue de s'assagir ou si, au contraire, il redevient si créativement crazy.

Sa maman est africaine du sud et Amira a décidé qu’une bonne partie de ses revenus par la vente de ses disques et les cachets pour ses concerts servirait à créer et installer des espaces de jeux pour les enfants pauvres des quartiers noirs en Afrique du Sud. Elle n’avait pas pu supporter de voir que les enfants des écoles n’avaient pas de « cours de récréation » pour y jouer.

Même si, pour son supplément d'âme, je préfère toujours l'interprétation de Sue Su, l'autrice de cette émouvante chanson sur cet "homme au flanc de la montagne" qui récolte le thé et que personne ne connaît, admettons tout de même que ce duo mérite le détour pour ses qualités vocales, sa mise en scène et l'opportunité de l'échange France/Chine. Bien sûr, Joyce est une habituée de la Chine où elle va chaque année, et Wen Jie parle un Français parfait puisqu'elle a fait des études universitaires dans cette langue et se destinait à devenir prof de Français à Shanghai... avant d'avoir bêtement gagné un concours de chant qui la transforma à son grand dam et du jour au lendemain en star. Si Joyce adore la Chine, les Chinois le lui rendent bien. Elle a fait beaucoup d'effet parmi les jeunes chanteurs et chanteuses chinois, à l'occasion de ces festivités, et Wen Jie, qui adore donner un coup de pouces aux jeunes les plus méritants (elle a déjà Hua Chen Yu et Dimash à son palmarès, excusez du peu), ne pouvait que proposer ce beau duo à notre compatriote.
