I lucked out by finding a treasure trove of 1980s wooden grape boxes on Craigslist for $2 each, so my need for seedling trays is covered! I had to plant up my tomatoes into bigger pots a couple of weeks ago. We're well past our last frost date, but we haven't had warm enough soil temps to plant out. As for deep planting tomatoes, apparently it depends on soil temp. If you plant really deep in an area that doesn't get very warm summer temps, the stem and roots will suffer from being planted where the soil is much colder at depth. Planting sideways like you did is a better idea as the roots stay closer to the surface.

ok, so the lady doing the narration is a different person than the lady in the video. this type of gardening works fantastically in certain areas of the country or the world, but unfortunately a whole heck of a lot of us live in areas where gardening is a day to day battle with weeds, heat and low humidity. to those who can garden this way, bless your heart.

I must confess that I have a crush on you as my perfect cut flower friend. My daughter and I have just begun our cut flower garden and I wish I had found your site before buying zinnias, dahlias, funflowers, snapdragons, etc. You are such a fantastic teacher and I appreciate the extensive time you take to teach. All the best to you!

I've been wanting a scythe specifically to chop compost material into pieces large enough to collect. Grass cuttings are so small, they blend right in. For some reason I imagine a scythe would retain the nutritional integrity of the weeds, also.

Yes, willow water! I've successfully propagated penstemon, lavender, and hydrangea semi-hardwood cuttings with it, all about mid-summer. The top of a re-used clear plastic jug (with and without lid, depending) works well for a humidity dome over a 4 inch pot if just doing a few. What a great idea to combine with pinching.

So mamy new build contractors just want to put down 45 foot by 45 foot slabs of concrete and tell clients - itll last 50 years! Thing is, we dont want to seal off the earth from us from 50 years. We want it to breath with us.

I see a lot of people buying the "green stalk" tiered planter. I know it's a great product, but all plastic. I'm trying to build something using the bird house gourds after I saw them in Korea used as planters hanging off a fence. Here's to less plastic in the garden 🙌

Smart! If you top off the gravel in the spaces in between to level your path, use some mulch glue to keep it in place. It'll still allow drainage.

I'm excited to see update videos on ALL that you're growing! I couldn't justify the cost of the Floret seeds but I will live vicariously through your garden. Besides, I have my queen lime series to plant for the 1st time this season!! If you're planning on doing a harvest & cold storage of peonies I'd love to see that. I'm going to look for B. Interests blue grama seeds and try a small walkway between my raised beds. Thanks for sharing all your tips!

There are many interesting stocks in many industries that you might follow. You don't have to act on every forecast, so I'll suggest that you work with a financial advisor who can help you choose the best times to purchase and sell the shares or ETFs you want to acquire

You should know it's easy and hard to make that much profit. I say EASY because it's very possible to make that much, and Hard because you'll need professional assistance to do it, I'd suggest you get assisted by a market advisor.

I'm an advocate for having a diverse investment strategy. I grew to a 5 figure mark with my portfolio having exposure to different areas of the market, including small and large-caps of the ETF index, blue chip stocks, coins, grade bonds and alternatives like cryptocurrency markets, as this helps manage the overall risk on my portfolio managed by my FA.. Credits to my adviser, Jonathan, i have no doubt investing more

Mine got all slimy and none of them germinated :( I’ve never had that happen before so not sure what caused it. Only thing diff than I normally have done is the aluminum foil. I’d never done that before. When I opened the bag again, and still nothing, I prob looked like a kid that lost her lollipop in the sand. Lol
