17:44 The lights of the snack shack and restrooms. The memories come flooding back. I was eating a PBJ sandwich at a picnic table. Overhead a very aggressive Steller's Jay kept dive-bombing me, hoping I would drop my sandwich. Further down the boardwalk I came to a log on which there were many hundreds of ladybugs. They tickle when they're climbing over your arm. // Muir Woods will always be the refuge I envision in hypnosis sessions.

I remember when I went back in June, during the stretching room scene, we heard one boy say “get us outta here” and everyone (including my family and I) started laughing 😂. After the jump scare bit, he started crying. My mom felt bad for him. If the kid doesn’t want to go on the ride, don’t force the kid to go on.

Yeah. It’s kinda intense for me too. I was never a fan of the ride, not even as a kid, but, I ride it for my families sake (my dad is a big fan on the ride). And being on the spectrum doesn’t help either 🙃

Have you ever been to Big Trees Park in Arnold? It's beautiful with giant sequoia and lots of history.

I have, but not for years. I used to do quite a bit of stargazing and astrophotography up that way. It is beautiful.
