That was a nice bass. You may want to rethink your fishing technique at that pond. You may be able to pull more out of there with lures.

I’ve tried with little luck. I use what everyone else uses, but no luck. Course I get impatient and after 15 minutes I give up 😆. Thanks for the comment all helps me out.👍🏻

It’s been noticed 😂. The little pond turning out to be a little nice place, but the river is in its banks and I’ll be putting the boat in soon. Thanks for the support.

Dam, Terry, those were all nice bass, especially for an ultralight. I love pond fishing with an ultralight, but I do use 6# line to increase my odds. I'd definitely hit that pond again when less people are around.

Sometimes when I get in that situation I find backing off the drag where he can take some line might help with bent hooks and break off’s. Great video my friend!🎣🎣

There are some big flathead in there. Guy I worked with got a 43 lb flathead using a goldfish for bait. Hopefully one day. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
