Looking to try a v60 soon because most fiio/astell daps are really overpriced slow and often faulty - have the focal stellia and for a mobile flac player the v60 and a 1tb card looks just fine - focal stellia 35ohm and 106db - should be easy to drive them with the v60 - which V lg sounded the best for you? Hi, can I ask you a suggestion?. I have this combo with Sundara Headphone and I am really happy with the result. I also have the ifi Diablo and I'm quite happy with the result as well. I would like to upgrade the headphone to the next level buying the HE1000 Steath V3 but I am afraid my gear will not be able to make me appreaciate the headphone quality difference between the Sundara and the HE1000 Stealth V3. What do you suggest me? Sitting with my Sundara or giving a try to the HE1000 Stealt V3? Will my gear make me appreciate the higher leel of HE1000? Thanks again for your kindness in answering me. Great review! I guess now that the iPhone Pro Max has USB-C you don’t need another dongle from Apple.

I own the mojo 2 and the ifi go bar standard edition and I find a significant improvement in overall sound with the mojo 2 especially when providing eq but even without it. The resolution of the treble detail is better and the eq bass shelf compared to the go bar bass boost is much better. I really enjoy the ifi go bar for in my pocket on the go use but I much prefer the mojo 2.

Ive been considering buying the ifi zen one signature (£350-00) which is basically the zen blu 2 and the ifi zen dac 2 built into one unit. Gets great reviews. Just to mention for people who dont know ifis range.

When I connect my Dan Clarks Aeon into the ifi Gryphon via 4.4 Balanced, I always get distortion. Whats going wrong. Also, is there any DAC / Amp better for those Headphones? Thanks

Bit slow to review these V6 Opamps aren't you? They've been around for 7yrs. If you think the V6's are good, Burson have recently released the V7 & V7 Pro Opamp (Vivid & Classic). There are differences between the single op-amps and dual op-amps. The Burson Playmate requires two pairs of dual opamps. One pair takes care of the I/V Stage, where the digital audio signal enters. The second pair handles LP (low-pass) Stage and Headamp Output stage which filters the high-frequency noise. So you should change out both pairs. Recently swapped out mine in the Conductor 3 GT and the difference is astonishing, really next level performance.

Looking for active speakers and so far this the best Edifier review I have watched, now to look around for a good price Dang just realised I have 2 pairs of the Spinnaker in storage.

Another informative and great review , I decided to order one of these and it's coming today can't wait! I see no reason to order the zen dac V2 over this IF you're a non tidal user and you don't have any balanced headphones would you agree? I'm going to try it with a 5 volt adaptor too to see if there's any difference. It was a toss up between this and the slighter more expensive hip dac (the original) but since iam using it as purely desktop I decided to go for this.
