The anticipation had been building since the very start of Dragon Ball-everyone knew Gohan had untapped power, but no one could predict when he would finally unleash it. Then, on this unforgettable day, cell found out.

Mrs. Masako Nozawa did a tremendously great job managing her vocal chord to be able to voice the Son family for years. As you can notice in recent years her shouts unable to reach the same pitch but she still did a good job. I don't think anyone could replace her as Japanese voice for Goku, Gohan, Goten, Bardock and Goku Jr.

There are people who still do not understand what the birds means, for those: the bird symbolizes Gohan's innocence, and the red line symbolizes a shot, it is the murder of innocence and the end of Gohan's childhood.

…There will never be another moment in anime history like this. With the groundwork that Akira Toriyama _laid out_ here, this is what people *dream* about, when they dream anime. When they dream intensity, the likes of which we haven’t seen before, or ever will again. Rest in peace, Toriyama… your impact will *never* be forgotten.

There used to be a time when i watched this transformation and get motivation from it, made me feel more powerful. I still come back to see this one sometimes because it’s too epic, but today i needed to watch because of the horrible news. I almost can’t believe that Akira Toriyama have passed away, it’s all too sudden and can’t gather most of my thoughts, but what i can say is that this legendary man have impacted so many of our lives, Dragon Ball was the first manga i ever read, it was in the school library, when i was 8 and i remember his name printed on every front cover. Then many years later i gave the anime a watch and got up to this part, and is still my favourite moment in manga/ anime. Thank You Akira Toriyama for everything, all of your works will be be watched forever.
