The important bit if you haven't currently got a seal on is which side is the looped side and which the flat. Looped side to the bath and flat towards the bathroom? Or vice versa?

For everyone wanting to know. And because it isn't explained at all... The longer fin (usually with the round bubble on it) goes on facing OUT of the bath. The little fin in to the bath. The little fin pushes against and down on the big one when the glass closes against the bath forming a tight seal.

David Lynch the producer of Twin Peaks produced an album Fox Bat strategy, the guitarist was David Michael Jaurequi, was playing on the stage in the pink room scene, he is wearing a cowboy hat. It's only a brief shot but, you can see him playing. I have some David's very early work on cassette tapes , he used a 4 track Tascam portastudio . Just for anyone temped to think that any alternative fitting method might be better: it isn't. There's a definite knack to this which is easy when you have it. Also, the seal I just fitted seems to have a memory for shape, so it was a lot easier towards the end of the last hour.......(:

this is a difficult one..... i find if you cut the cannel ( where it fits over the glass ) away and allow the fin to be run past the hinge it helps, but hinged shower screens ofter have this problem.... hope this helps!!!!!! regards andy

Great - thank you :-) Can you explain how to eliminate the small gap at the hinge end of the screen - I have tried to cut the seal at different angles but still have a small gap, large enough to let water leak on to the floor... Many thanks for the vid
