@@sheppardpat47 i dont know how, i was thinking about it, i think the "alcantara" seal is worn and theres room between it and the segment. It also blows and whistles A LOT on the highway...

@@Dino-oj2pr try the product « gummi pflege stift » on all the seals Works wonders But first degrease the seals with a degreaser and then oil them with the gummi pflege

A very capable car, easily holds 5 adults or two adults and three kids plus a boot of shopping or luggage, and can take moderate sized loads with the three rear seats folded and flipped forwards, or completely removed, for van like levels of space.

"Kid in a go kart" an excellent description of owning a Boxster. I found a "first run" 986 in a garage forgotten. What a great hobby/retirement gift. I urge you to consider a mid engine Porsche roadster, they are affordable now.

Die w211er haben 40:60 Verteilung in Verbindung mit 4ets u. bis 2005 sbc u. 50nm Festwertsperre. In Verbindung mit sbc haben diese Fahrzeuge bis dato heute das beste Allradsystem aller Zeiten. Sbc ist 3/10 sec schneller in der Reaktion u. die Kraft kann bei Gelegenheit in 200 mili sekunden auf nur 1 einziges Rad angesteuert werden. E500 4matic hatte zusätzlich serienmässig airmatic. Dieses Airmatic konnte nur bei den 4matic Modellen die Höhe des Fahrzeuges pro Feder (nicht pro Seite) unterschiedlich ansteuern. Das können auch heute keine Fahrzeuge. Diese Art von 4matic mit 4ets ersetzt quasi 3 Diffsperren.

I dont think the w211 had a center LSD though... It first came with the w212 what I know. Which had an initial 55/45 torque distribution.
