17:00, Siya brought up an important point about exploring other kinds of relationship dynamics and ways in which people structure their relationships and allow each partner to show up. I understand the need for polarity in a relationship but I think queer relationships can show how people can work together to figure out what a relationship looks like for them. How you treat one another in the relationship then becomes about you both and not societal taught expectations.

What is the solution gents, to the decline of masculinity in today's time? I agree that men aren't faring as well as our female counterparts, and men in marriages and relationships aren't the breadwinners, which automatically puts them at a disadvantage but what can men do, to change the dynamic of relationships? My view is that we need to find balance between equality and honouring individual differences. Redefine relationships outside the normal traditional way, what does it mean to be a modern men and women. How can that be healthy without removing the feminine and masculine attributes that these parties have as well as detachment of these qualities in so far as these roles are concerned

Assess whether the impact of the relationship when these roles are removed . Is the attraction still there ? What do you value more in your partner and be honest about it. Sometimes relationships require honesty as hard as it is, we need to be honest to each other.
