My two return filters are solid black, had two hvac companies check out furnace and said it was in excellent working order, new filters were installed 4 weeks earlier, both companies went away said they had no idea

Thank you. I have an old Williams gas double-wall heater. When I turned the thermostat on tonight, something started beeping. When I turned the thermostat down, the beeping stopped. The heater was installed October 2007, so it is about 16 years old. How long do these heaters last? or maybe it is the wall thermostat?

When my thermostat reaches its set point, the furnace goes into its cool down before shutting off so the blower continues to run until it reaches the shutoff set point switch that's in the Plenum.. I understand how this works, however, my furnace blower shuts down to early, even though the shutoff setpoint is set at its lowest point of 90 degrees which causes the blower motor to short cycle a few minutes later because the pelnum temperature raised above the setpoint because it's still too hot.. It only short cycles once between normal cycles..

Well that loops looks like it coming from the secondary. And there's a primary float device that will cut compressor off anyways, and just blow hot air. So I mean if for some reason, your primary safety switched failed, then it would drain anyways so in other words, i would have just pvc the secondary anyway. I've never seen a tech run a rubber 3/8 tubing. I wouldn't have.

Hello. Thank you for posting an awesome video on how the gas furnace works. I have a question if you could take a moment to answer? I get ignition then furnace shuts down. I clean the flame sensor and it works for about 3 days or so. Take it out and clean it again. Works fine again for another 3 days. Replaced flame sensor. Same thing. What do you think the problem could be? Thank you!
