Love the paint color. Great job taking those pieces from pretty terrible to lovely. I’m sure your client was ecstatic upon seeing how they turned out.

This came out gorgeous! Please don’t take this as ill intentioned but I’m shocked that you took this on. I know some of that water damage can be tough to see unless the light hits it just right, though.

Years back when I didn’t know any better about the furniture refinishing, but I needed a temporary desk for my daughter, I used a liquid sander on really swollen and sanded desk top… I did twice and then believe it or not I’ve stained that desk with gel stain, but didn’t wipe the stain, because I didn’t know I should do that… it was drying for ever, but when it finally was dry it looked really good… at the same time I stained a kitchen table and chairs from light oak color to dark stain… they were in good shape only color change… 15 years later they still look really good… I’m planning to go over with restore to refresh them… my daughter still has that desk in her basement and it still looks decent…. Sometimes accidents teach us something new…😅

I can imagine how long it took for it to dry without wiping the extra off! I’m glad it came out well in the end for you ❤️

I don't know if I care for the wood look on the bottom, but you guys did an amazing job restoring this piece. I would have preferred the bottom painted the same as the rest, but to each his/her own. lol. Good job!

The more you sand, the more you have to tack off and the higher risk for getting crap on your wet paint. Just a simple hand paint is all you need.
