VW Passat 2.5 2014 has 2 colant temp sensors!, this in the video is the upper sensor, but the lower sensor is in the pipe down driver side near radiator.... you know?

@boomerguy9935 Жыл бұрын
I replaced mine over a year ago and it works perfectly. However, it recently developed a small leak around the entry point, so I've ordered a new o-ring gasket. I hope that solves the problem.

I was never a fan of coast head lamps. The ones they sell here are more expensive than normal ones but don’t have more than one light setting. $25 or so, or you can buy the $6 ones that have 3 different settings.

@@ILLYA_N Thanks I can see that lol. Replaced that ect sensor 1 and did nothing my original piece was perfectly fine. Once again this is on my side and was asking about it. Their’s 2 ect sensors one is next to engine where the hose is and the 2nd is on the lower left radiator with a pigtail connecto up under the valence shield for the bumper. Code is p2185. Soldered and fixed. Check engine went away right away. No mechanic speaks of such

@@akirastv999 thanks it's good to know soldering is some normal maintenance work required for these cars :)) I'm having a 2012 jetta 2.5 and that's why I found this video, since temp sensor started to play dances... fans always on etc. So I was looking where the fck it's located :)) In fact this is annoying me since I've already replaced the camshaft sensor, adsorber valve, and now it's temp sensor... and it's on 91 k miles... I also own an old Seat Cordoba 2007 with 2.0 (I know SEAT is not sold in US but I'm in Ukraine, this is just a spanish volkswagen) with 120 k miles from factory and I have never seen any error during it's all life. I knew there can be engine errors only after I bought that Jetta 2.5 haha :)))
