Beautiful job. I recently acquired a players' AFM cabinet and am slowly replacing worn out parts. The launcher is sometimes weak. Do you know the part number on the solenoid that launches the ball?

Have a look in the manual on page 123 "Kicker Bracket Assembly". Normaly it's not the solenoid. Those work or don't. The "Coil Tubing" will be the cause or maybe the "Bell Armature Assembly". you can check the manual here: www.ipdb.org/files/3781/Bally_1995_Attack_from_Mars_Operations_Manual_FINAL_dated_January_1996_OCR_searchable.pdf For further help i would check the pinside forum. Amazing collection! I recently bought 2 CV 1000B PCBs ( Mushi and Ibara). I heard the CV 1000 PCBs are very sensible to over-voltage and need less power than most PCBs. Which voltage would you recommend?

Hi, I tested Ibara with the voltage you recommended. It starts up and plays Ok, but has no sound whatsoever . Is it a common issue? What would you suggest next?

@@peterporto836 If i'm honest i have no idea. Search for someone who can repair it or join the forum.arcadeotaku.com/ forum. Maybe they have advice what to do. I guess you turned on the potentiometer on the PCB for the sound ;-).

What’s the difference between an egret 2 and a 3??

The Egret 2 has a mechanism to easliy turn the screen between vertical and horizontal. It's also possible with the Egret 3, but not that easy. The other difference is that the Egret 2 has a better picrture (in my opinion) for low res 15kHz games. That was a "stand" which came with the graphics card.

You can close the case easily. The cable goes straight for about 3-4cm from the GPU plug till it touches the glas. Then the cable makes a slight bend. So no problem at all. I just had the case open for filming.

yes, GPU cable ist straight at the plug and at about 3cm -4cm comes the glass.

hey dude im building my pc right now and idk if im just tired from traveling or what but does your case have that daisy chain of the fan cables, i cant for the life of me figure out where i plug into and into mobo, i feel like i might need an extension to get from the controller at the top to my casefans plug on the mobo at the bottom. idk man i think im just tired and tomorrow it will all make sense but looking at the booklet does me no favors except to say instead of individually plugging each front fan in to the controller you daisy chain them and then do...something?

I just tried it and yes there is. Maybe i do a video on all the modes. There are TONES of options. Everytime you press the button on the case for like 5s it changes it's mode (rotating color, pulsing color, "fix" color, off, etc.). If you press the button for 1s it changes the color inside that mode. But short answer to your question, yes you can turn all the LED on the fans OFF.

@@miguelcarneiro1192 Unfortunartely machines in good condition cost their price. My Egret 2 was in much worse shape and with the restoration costs it was MUCH more expensive at the end than the Egret 3.

Hi there, how did you get your computer to output 15kHz? is there a way to configure windows, or is it outputting that way via MAME? the lowest resoultion I can set in windows 7 is 640X480. Nice cab btw!
