Why is the Ramp_scaling_counter.DN needed in rung 1? I believe the Ramp_Second_Timer.DN is there as a reset for the timer but I'm not sure why the former is required.
@victorn35793 жыл бұрын
Is it because the Ramp_scaling_counter.DN normally closed switch will become open at the end of the program(When it reaches 10V) and prevent the timer from being active again?

Excellent instructional video! (and your voice was perfect). Thanks for going step by step through the algebra. The only question I had was everything I've read states it takes 5 time constants to consider a capacitor fully charged, not 6.
@techtrainingonline4 жыл бұрын
Generally, for a college level analysis, we use 5 tau. It is a good practical estimate. In university, they generally use 6. NOTE: The process never really reaches max value, it just keeps getting closer. The whole thing is an approximation. It is just a matter of how exact you need to be for you purpose. Its like a derivative. There is no slope of a point, but we use math to get the slope of a point, and another point infinitely close to the first one. Just a really accurate approximation. Cheers.

Hello James, It is just poor audio on this video. The video has nothing to do with the course materials. I put this video together and it is aside from the course. I am currently remaking a new product overview video for Robologix. But again, the course videos are all excellent quality audio, and this video is not part of the course, it was just promotional. Does the analysis change at all if the resistor is the inductive coil itself?
@techtrainingonline5 жыл бұрын
No, not really. Even with this example, you would reasonably apply some resistive value to the inductor in this circuit. It would just be a matter of summing, to get total series resistance, and applying the same approach.

Hello,The Robologix software comes with the Robotics Technician Certificate course. This simulation tool employs an instruction set modelled after FANUC robots. It is pretty standard, but you should know that the instructions sets are proprietary in nature. FANUC robots use a reasonably standard approach and set. @techtrainingonline5 жыл бұрын
Hello, That's a completely different video ! Generally speaking, it depends on your input signal span, where you want to operate the transistor (re: Q point or operating point) and biasing etc. All of which is beyond or outside the scope of this video.
