'Tis the season for plenty of that, and we'd love to be the ambience playing in the background while people do that! 👏😊 In the upcoming weeks, we also hope to release a "Smoky Mountain Christmas" version which will feature more instruments like fiddle, banjo, dulcimer, tenpenny whistle and a "country" feel/rhythm to the traditional carols of Christmas. Ha! Must be those winter cardinals that love singing even when it starts to snow! Wait--what boys out there say there could be such a thing as "too much fire" --?! 🤔 😂 I think one of the challenges of ambiences is choosing from a limited palette of sounds--generally fire, moving water (of some type), rain/thunder, and outdoor sounds like birds, crickets, etc. and figuring out how to mix those up so it's not always the same type of sounds (or same locations). What usually draws me to an ambience initially is the picture, but what makes me stay (or return) is the sound profile, so I get it that some of them are just not one's favorite fit (and that's ok!) We have many *without* fire, too, so perhaps they'd like those better?
