such a simple song...got many similar...love them

This is about as good as Peter Criss got. Sub standard drummer, boring drum solo (but the one that made the cut on Alive 2). I know there's a lot of love for Peter here and I get why, he was the original drummer after all, but Eric Carr breathed new life into the band, and so did Eric Singer. Peter was a good fit for the time but, subsequently, his replacements have made him look like exactly what he is. Average. I don't mean to be nasty but I honestly think that he wasn't good for Kiss and that, 50 years on, history has shown that he was the weakest of the 3 drummers that have graced the kit behind the legendary band that is Kiss.

I see a lot of haters in the comments, this is the best rock I've heard in going back to the classics in a LONG TIME! *When I was 3-4 years old my older brother was listening to KISS and buying the bubblegum and card packs to get the full picture... man, those were the days. ;}

The Destroyer era was KISS at their peak.

As a die hard Kiss fan, really Peter Criss and Ace what I love about 70's Rock is, they were unique in their own ways!!! Ace is fuckin great, but he has admitted he plays with soul and sloppy at times, but it works!! Peter Criss has a unique jungle rhythm and jazz filled riffs with he incorporated into Rock and Roll, and my point is Lindsey Buckingham from Fleetwood Mac is one of my favorite and underrated and underappreciated guitarist 🎸 ever!!! The man doesn't use a pick for God sake!!! The Who is amazing as well, Keith Moon was fantastic, but different type of drummer than Catman!!! All great and legendary!!! When Paul said a John Bonham Peter would never be, duh 🙄!!!! Peter Criss laughed and yet I am in the same band as you!!! Lol 🤣

I always loved this and Paul wrote it, but he does the intro, and I always laugh, because it's like Peter Criss says now give me the mic 🎤 and magic happens!!! Lol 🤣

子供の頃NHKで放送したのを観て、すっかり忘れてたころBSのNHKでも放送された。ライブアルバムAlive 2が発表された頃だ。またこれとは別件でラジオでもアメリカでのライブを放送した番組を録音して熱心に聴いていた。God of thunder は一番好きな曲。こいつを雷神と言う奴とは何か馴染めなかった。
