MW19 at launch was the perfect game. It got iffy once the wackier skins got added and the sweats found out about slide canceling, but it was still good. I played it all the way till MWII released. I stopped playing MWII 6 months after release. MWIII released and I didn't bother preordering because I knew it would go on sale real quick, and it did 1 month later. I bought it for $45 and glad am glad I waited. I stopped playing 1 month later and I have not touched it since January. The game's movement was good, but visually, the game had me sighing in the lobby and killcams with all the skins and kill effects. After seeing the goofy zombie and robot skins in the Vault Edition of Black Ops 6, I might not even bother with that game. Visuals 100% matter.

People who whine about the lack of mil-sim skins need to put their money where their mouths are or just get with the times. Activision is a money hungry corporation. These pop culture crossovers and animal operators sell well. Mil-sim clearly doesn’t. Activision tells COD devs to churn out more of the former and less of the latter. And honestly to say purely cosmetic items ruin COD for you because “it’s not mil-sim” and “ruins your immersion” is such a ridiculous take. Focus on shooting straight lol

If people really wanted realism and mil-sim they’d be playing the games that are already out there and the numbers would be showing that 🗿 instead anime skins are at an all time high and you essentially have this boomer who made the video and just refuses to move on from what he loved, which is fine just play the older games and don’t move on simple as that 🤷 this is the new equivalent ‘back in my day’ kinda meme

In reality you can't change the formula of call of duty because it's call of duty it's been so good of a fps you can't really capitalize think of a hammer a hammer is well a hammer you can't make a better hammer well you can't make a better formula cod has made because it's the best arcade shooter ever but the devs are so finance hungry it spoils the purity and memory of the franchise

The wacky skins work for fortnite since it is a cartoony setting. Mw3 as an example is a military themed fps, IT IS NOT CARTOONY. I hope to god we go back to taking Cods setting serious, but I know it will never happen cause the glue eating children keep paying money for it
