Which is better for triple sim racing? 27inch 1440p or 32inch 1440p. Some say 32inch is too large for 1440p relative to pixel density. Is it that bad?

Glad I watched your review. I'm considering upgrading my Fanatec shifter, which is probably one of the best all rounders. The haptic interaction rattle would really annoy me, because I run my haptic set up very high so it would rattle on my rig. I may have to consider the sim magic maybe? 🤔🤔

I've had these for a few days now. Upgraded from Fanatec V3i which I've been using since about 2018. I set up my Invictas in the same way, with brake and clutch inverted and throttle floor mounted. Had to make a custom mount to do this with my TR120. So far I'm absolutely loving them. I was running double green elastomers in thr fanatecs and being a measily 145lbs. The brake throw was modestly less than what I was used to already. I mostly run GT style cars and some LMP here and there these are great for both function and authenticity. So far I've landed in thr softest elastomers in the optional kit (light green), which allow me to hit the 2nd stage without over exerting and calibrating to only 30bar. They are a massive step up. Like... MASSIVE. I spent a good chunk of cash to set these things up the way I'm accustomed, but man has it been worth it. I however did not like the cheese grater throttle plate. Very subjective. I tend to "reset my right foot on straights and the stick plate kept me from being able to do that ( I wear kart shoes). Borrowed the smooth placental came with the clutch and that works perfectly. I'll oribably need to order the Forte smooth throttle plate innthw future for heel toe though as the small plate isn't long enough. Anyways, great pedals for race cars, probably not so great if you're wanting an authentic feeling pedal for a wider range of vehicles.

Nice that the brake unit can be combined with HE pedals. Only complaint I would have is the white Molex style rear connectors… for this price they could do way better.

a 34'' UW, is the same height as a 16:9 27''.. so if you want a little more vertical, go for a 21:9 40inch, (there is not many of this option, but a few), and you will get the same height was a 16:9 32 inch. a 49 31:9 inch also has the same height as a 27inch 16:9, so then you get that letterbox effect. the new 57'' ultrawide is the same as a 32 inch at 16:9 interms of vertical. i would personally stay away from the smaller ultrawides based on the 27'' 16:9.. they do a good job, but i fell you will ask for more after a while. and either go for a 40-48inch 16:9 tv, or a 21:9 ultra wide. remember that the ultrawide are just larger tvs, cut in half, made into a computer monitor.

When I put rear speaker cables to channel 1 and channel 2 then rear speakers working great and front doesnt because they are in channel 3 and channel 4 slot. Hi,been watching reviews for this. Few questions... 1. I have casters as I need to be able to roll my rig easily every now and then. I understand too I can't put casters under the spring plate. Anyone used lift caster with this? Or anyone know source for plates I can mount below the spring plates to hold them up (ie. L-plates?), so I can fix casters below the rig. 2. Should 100W amp set be fine, or 200W?

I was using castors before had to remove them not great with this type of setup maybe you could design some sort of platform on wheels then put your rig on there. 100W unless you want to add more transducers.

That’s super inspiring as I am looking for different ideas to build myself a roof. Very good job mate! 💪 I love the clean look on top! 👏 questions: your head is still not covered by the roof? Isn’t that a bit distracting/off? Why not fully cover the cockpit including the seat? I first thought your roof can be lifted / tilted up… thanks for the idea though. 😊 is it getting warmer while racing now, with the roof installed?
@simracingden
@simracingden 9 күн бұрын
Thanks! My head is not entirely covered, but it's still very immersive. You're not looking up directly above it, but it helps close in the screens so your eyes aren't seeing anything above the monitors; it's very convincing. It helps with comfort when getting in and out of heat. The roof can be tilted up on brackets that can hinge open. I don't think I showed that, but it's possible with how I built it.

Ultimately which is better Asetec Invicta or Simucube 2 Ultimate and Why is it better? (Baring the price tag)
@simracingden
@simracingden 11 күн бұрын
That's a tough one, as both options are very close in terms of performance. However, other factors like the ecosystem, quick-release system, and software play a crucial role in the decision. I'm heavily invested in the Simucube QR system for all my wheels, which influences my preference. The lack of easy profile sharing at the moment with Asetek is another reason I lean towards Simucube, where you can download profiles created by real-life pros and esports drivers. Personally, I still prefer the Simucube 2 Ultimate, which remains on my primary rig. I know this doesn't directly answer your question, but neither option will disappoint in terms of sheer performance and capabilities.

When you say they are close in terms of performance, which one do you think is slightly better overall? How does it compare to the Heusinkveld throttle? Which would you prefer? I am thinking of buying the SimuCube acitve pedal together with the throttle. And add a Heusinkveld throttle. But im unsure whether I should just buy the entire Heusinkveld pedal set, and just swap out the brake with the active pedal.

It’s pretty comparable to the Heusinkveld Ultimate+ throttle with the damper installed. I still prefer the matching Simucube throttle, though. Adjustability is easier thanks to toolless adjustments, and settings can be made in the same software without the need for an additional adapter.
