They say bags like Hermès are investments, but that makes no sense to me when you're spending $25,000 to $50,000 on a bag that will sit in your closet 50% of the time instead of investing in stocks. The only way to get your money back is to resell. I just think it's a waste of money for me, I would rather spend the money to buy the *amzrepe* I want.

money on designer bags and, as a 50 year old, could have bought another house or many *amzrepe* with what I’ve spent. My advice is to only buy if you can afford it plus other important things and don’t necessarily turn your nose up at a dupe!

Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in *amzrepe* . If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.

I've been avoiding the monogram bags with the light leather because I'm not a fan of the light leather. Curious, do you use Apple Guard or anything? Does darkening it yourself help prevent water marks or anything? Also, are you nervous about doing this with authentic bags as opposed to dupes?

I don’t recommend you using whipping it down before you have used conditioner, as you otherwise dry out the leather. So first conditioning, the whipping with whips, before conditioning again a final time. Following the video you are at high risk of drying out and damaging your leather

No unfortunately you cannot lighten it back up. What’s done is done. It will always continue to get darker even if you hadn’t used the olive oil

No, you can not do anything about it. They all look different depending on the dyes used, so you can not determine the authenticity by this.

Hello, of course you can use different oil after, but I would say leave the first product to set for a minimum couple of weeks or so. I haven't had any issues with any of them at all! Xx ❤️

You should impregnated the leather. With your cleaning the leather is just getting darker

The leather briefly darkens when wet, but reverts to its original colour once it dries.

The only products I would ever use on a bag this expensive is products from Saphir medaille d'or. Renovateur or lotion for conditioning, omninettoyant for mild deep cleaning and leather cleanser for surface cleaning. Can't even find the ingredients in this CPR product, which to me is a huge red flag. 100% cosmetic ingredients? What does that even mean? Cosmetics in general contain pure shit.

hard disagree! Saphir almost ruined my Togo as it really crept into all the fine lines and left this white cast, regardless of how much I tried to buff it out. Also, it made my togo leather drier than before. Never again !

People-PLEASE don’t use tanning beds-even for a few minutes! I know several people who got Melanoma from this (the deadliest skin cancer). And it does not matter if you are fair or darker skinned. It is simply not worth risking your life! Research the risks of developing skin cancer from these beds if you are skeptical.

Try using Murphy oil soap on it. I did wash a coach leather purse once with Murphy oil soap and it came out Clean

Never use laundry soap on leather. Some laundry soaps have stain lifters that are quite strong that they discolor what you wash. Also, you need to clean out your washer every now and then with just water, to remove any leftover laundry soap that has settled in your washer. I know someone on YT that handwashed their LV bag with a just a little bit of mild dishwashing detergent, it actually came out clean. I wouldn't do it though.

It wouldn't really matter. The best might be if you did the glazing before treating the leather, and make sure not to do them at the same time to just in case the leather soak up the alcohol.

Not sure about IPA but some have tried acetone and it's not advised as it degrades the glaze and takes the finish off the leather. Personally I would just give the vachetta leather and glaze "a tan" and let |Mother Nature do its work.

The alcohol did a fab job. It is a matter of personal taste. I do not like the look of the new, almost white vachetta.
