Thanks so much for taking the time to comment 🙌🏻🤩 the Aussie slang 😂😂😂 it use to be super thick but I left QLD about 15 years ago but it still lingers…. Glad you enjoy it. We’re onto magnetic island this next episode, it was simply amazing and a top 3 fav spot so far! It’s truely a unique place. Thanks so much for your feedback 🫶🏻🙌🏻

Good job guys, love seeing the lifestyle not just the exciting bits lol. 60 knot gust in Airley Beach this time of year is most unusual. I'm sure it would have caught most boats off guard. Btw love the Qld slang HEY! hahaha When you get up to Magnetic island, there's a resort and main port on the west side, on the east side there used to be one solitary house in a beautiful bay full of sea life, we swam with the large manta rays there, absolutely beautiful. We also met a 13yr old boy who had lived there all his life, never seen a big city or a high rise building, never seen or been in a tram or train, never been in a classroom (school was by correspondence). He was such a bright happy kid and what was 2nd nature to him in the water and on land would take years of intense study to learn. You have an amazing opportunity here, you're going to discover people and places the world has no idea exists and you have the tools to show the world. Your down to earth attitude and language is pure Aussie, so refreshing to see and listen to. Good luck with everything and keep improving 🍻🍻🍻🍻

In the 70"s and 80's South Molle was a great fun resort, always things happening, lots of people a brilliantly helpful and friendly manager and the most yachtie friendly island resort in the Whitsundays. It's a damn shame it's gone. There's some real history there!

@@DysonsAdrift There's some great places there in the Whitsundays. I'm not sure how much time you plan to stay around the Whitsundays but if you're there for a while here's a few spots we had a great time in. Narra Inlet at low tide, take a hammer, screwdriver and plenty of buckets. You'll fill them all with oysters, 100's of them! Cid harbour, great place for bbq's and meeting other yachties from around the world. Start a BBQ there and for sure others will join you and before you know it, there'll be raging beach party! There's also a decent dry river bed there that's a nice hike up to the top. Make sure you take a couple of torches/flashlights cos it takes longer than you think and you could be coming back in the dark. Hook observatory, if it's still there. Be careful of the large bombies as you approach, they're not charted so talk to some locals. Hazelwood island, it's a bit of a sail but if you have a firearm onboard (not sure if that's allowed anymore) you can go wild bore hunting there. You're in a truly beautiful part of the world, a place your entire family will never forget. Enjoy it while you can 😃😃😃
