All the little English accents!! Caught me by surprise. Great presentation. Super acoustics, even the shoes have a voice. That Bass soloist is excellent, great presence. Like tremendous presence. (Very large mouth, like may-eat-u big.) Alto, very pretty voice, softer, just strong enough to project above the musicians. Didn't omit the Pastoral Symphony-so many do. Soprano-mighty powerful & yes, more wonderful accent. Some sopranos are hard to understand, but her dictation is very clear. Love her energy. Lotta negative Covid coughs out there. Tenor given Thou Shalt Break Them, okay. Nothing lacking there, nice change. One of my favs. Along w/ the Amen chorus which was perfect. Pretty venue too. Too few complete Messiah performances. 👏Should've been there.

Thank you so much, choristers. Well, all the musicians. You were superb; sounds like a good group this term. The Men of the Choir were outstanding in the Stanford Nunc Dimittis. I really enjoyed you. It would be good to hear the Men of the Choir sing the Howells's Service in E for men's voices (the original version) sometime. Also, really enjoyed the Byrd anthem. Again, thank you so much.

Wow, very cool. AAM does this oratorio so well; I've enjoyed the recordings under Hogwood and Higginbottom for many years. I'm left to wonder why some parts are missing, though? Why put on _Messiah_ if you're not going to do the whole thing?

Rowan Pierce has such perfect diction as well as being a great singer. There is just no ambiguity over any vowel or consonant so that you can understand perfectly every word she sings.
