@@ivy-mac it’s a must, 10k rusty lump with the exhaust servo that will absolutely start to seize and then your bike won’t run past 6k revs . I got a nice midpipe for £335 , simple fix with a £40 servo eliminator. I can honestly say it has transformed my bike now, so much quicker, lighter and the sound 😍

The throtle is superb even its 2014 if you need power it is there. For cornering (i am not a sport rider) i love twisty roads mooooreee with this bike suspensions tires feel the road and really helps you. And confort wise seat is very good in öne day i ride 680km and my back wasnt uncunfortable (i stop for only refueling ne and Ducati:) ) İ want to try new models too but they are expensive right now :/

I've had my 2019 TRK502X about 3 years, just coming up to 10,000 miles and can't fault it. I'm 62 and only 5' 7" and 77 kg but find it no trouble weight or height wise. It'll pull in 6th gear quite nicely from 40 mph which some larger bikes won't, I work servicing and repairing bikes and ride everything and anything much more powerful but I must admit this does it all for me. I'm no bike snob as in the past as a teenager and into my early 20s I rode an MZ 250 and put 85000 miles on it so I'm no stranger to different bikes . The Benelli is so comfy and inoffensive and does what it says on the tin.

How did you manage to drive around the Gleniff horseshoe and not mention Diarmud and Grainnes cave? The big black hole above the old houses.. 😊😂😂 well done, ye covered a good few miles/kilometres😊❤ you're right about the roads in England, we were recently in Epsom and Dorking in Surrey. The roads are in sh1te.. and they've stopped trimming the grass verges and roundabouts leaving it very difficult in places to see oncoming traffic.. Yeats spent a lot of time around Lissadell and Drumcliff and Sligo, being related to the Pollexfens. The Gorebooths lived at Lissadell and Yeats was keen on the daughters and could be seen on occasion wandering the roads mumbling poetry to himself..

Those caves in Gleniff are dangerous. An American tourist died falling there a couple of years ago and people are frequently rescued by the mountain rescue team and the coastguard. There’s caves at Keash in south Sligo are much safer. There is a road off that road which goes to the mast on the top of Truskmore (650m) but it’s locked these days. About a 40 minute walk. Spectacular views. And the next valley south is worth a look, Glencar.

@@ivy-mac Compared to the bikes of today and the last 10 years that thing is practically a cruiser in terms of riding position. I think it was the 2009 model year they moved the foot pegs so high your knees pretty much touch your ears. I loved this late 90s early 2000’s era of sport bikes, 600cc they were useable as commuters to go to work and back, fast enough to be serious fun and useable enough to be practical.
