I've watched sunrise and sunset many times from the top of the Tor but one morning was very special as the sun rose the mists changed colour from yellow, orange, red-purple, the light show lasted for about an hour and then as the mists burned off it vanished, it was pre-mobile phone days so I didn't capture it, the depth and vividness of the colours was like it was being created by a smoke machine, I've seen coloured mists there many times but this morning for whatever reason was something special,

Sitting at the top watching the sun set as the levels fill with mist at the same time is amazing. The mist changes colour, orange, yellow, red, purple, you need to see it your self as even though video like this is good the real thing is much better. I must have sat at the top a dozen times watching the sun set and twice the mist filled the levels as it set. Well worth the walk to the top..
