What the dialysis ward nurse didn't tell you is that you also run a risk of getting a MRSA infection. Just as bad as sepsis. Comes with the territory of hanging around medical wards where all kinds of bacteria accumulate. If either happens, probably go back to home care.

Hello Glen. I live in Canada, close to Niagara falls, Ontario. I'm not sure how I found this channel but let me tell you, I found this "first" episode of your life journey to be fascinating. There are so many learning gems in your life's journey. I'm very familiar with the Nightingale tapes...have them myself. Your life experience, thus far, is a recognition of the importance of adaptability. You did your schooling, got a job...grew frustrated and then self-educated in a search for a "better way." i could go on but suffice to say, I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter in your life. Sincerely, Russ from Canada

Sorry to hear about your health struggles and your wife's diagnosis. Search KZbin for plasmalogens and Goodenowe. Also, Dr Dale Bredesen has vids about Alzheimer's and he's written two books on it. Both have been researching cognitive decline for over 30 years. I'm afraid if I give details then the KZbin bots will erase this post.

The second Bredesen book gives a more detailed regime for Alzheimer's care. He's the best.

Thanks for the reply to my question Glyn. You are correct I don't "enjoy" software testing and I am trying to find a way to use the money I earn to explore other opportunities. To completely leave my current job and start fresh again would be too much of a financial hit. I do forex quite often and am yet to withdraw any cash, gold fucks me over regularly. I do believe everything happens in due course so I should not rush the process but enjoy it. Thanks again & I wish you the best with your health.

Interesting video Glyn, I stumbled across you thanks to the KZbin algorithum but also because I believe this video holds information that I needed. I am a software test engineer by trade but as you say I am trying to stop selling my time and progress in life. This is a battle I have with myself regularly and up to yet apart from a generous salary I have no conquered much at all. Hopefully the thought generated by watching this video will propel me in some way. Take care

Great to see you again Glyn. I've still not managed to make any kind of 'selling' work for me so I continue to do social media management and advertising for other businesses that already have established products and services. It works for me and it's giving me and my wife a life with our kids that we never thought we'd have. But money is starting to get tighter and tighter so I need to find some more streams of income. Will be watching your videos closely!

Thanks for the video Soul - I currently own and run a fencing business (alone) - Have a youtube channel with 12k subs - own 2 rental properties - Invest in the crypto markets. Very interested in the question "what can I do to earn more money by doing less" - any ideas Soul ? The probable answer is to employ people within my fencing business, but just can't seem to take that leap.

Hi Soul, nice to see you again on this channel. I rent practice rooms to bands. Since Corona it runs so poorly, that I don't earn any money at all. Live on a small pension. A couple of months ago my husband died. He did the repairs on the amplifiers and drumkits. Your question haunts my head daily. How do I find someone who can repair shit, how do I earn (more) money so I can pay them. How do I get all those tasks we did together now by my self and so on. Or should I just quit? I don't expect solutions from you, just wanted to let you know. Sorry to hear you've got those serious health problems, still hope you stick around for a long, long time. All the best from the Netherlands. Jeanet

I watched this stream live last Friday and have a question about how you placed your bet and target. In one race, your horse came in 2nd and you made 10 quid because you that was your target placed into the market on the price ladder. And as you said, if the horse had come in 1st then you would have lost 172 quid (i.e., you were betting on the horse to lose). My question is: how high could you have placed that target and still have made money on the bet? The 10'er was your choice, but what was the maximum you could have gotten?
@Soultrader1
@Soultrader1 3 жыл бұрын
Hi steve, ok - whatever you stake is what you win if the horse loses. stake £10 and if it loses you get £10. The position you place that bet determines your liability. - so if you lay a horse low in the odds then your liability is small but that reflects the risk - the lower the odds are then the more chance the horse has of winning rather than losing. - if however you lay at much higher odds then your 'risk' or liability is much higher. for the sake of clarity let me make some figures up - if you lay at 2.0 then your liability is 2x your stake - so lay for 10 and your risk is 20 - if you lay at 100 then the chances are that the horse is going to lose - your liability if it goes on to win is 100X your stake. so it's a fine balancing act because sometimes (read often) the outsider goes on to win. the balance is laying at the lowest price you can a horse that wont win. ps, i do this for a bit of fun - saturday morning the first 3 races wiped out my profit for last week entirely - it's not a viable strategy to make money without pain :)
