Went out yesterday and had trouble with waves knocking me back, never got to the lineup. Sounds to me like working it out there is a cumulative effort of all these small techniques that will help build and keep momentum. Great video and demonstration, surprised you don’t have more views on it.

What's the name of the cocnut tour?
@BodhiSurfYoga7 ай бұрын
it doesn't really have a name haha. It's a pretty informal tour that's run by a man named Davíd from his house. His instagram and Facebook handles (doesn't have a website) are "Coco time Punta Lagarto." Facebook here --> facebook.com/ProductosDeCocoPuntaLagarto/ We usually deal with the bookings for our guests, by communicating directly with him. The tour can also be booked through Costa Rica Culture Tours, and there it's just referred to as the "Coconut tour". Let me know if there's any other way I can help with this.

Where specifically do you feel like you're having challenges? We'd love to help you make it feel natural and athletic to you too. One tip is to practice the motion 10-15 times per day and even film yourself doing it.

Thanks for sharing information Question When is the best time to visit this place Are there any packages?
@BodhiSurfYoga Жыл бұрын
Great question! We actually wrote up a full blog answering just that question. There are pros and cons to visiting during all seasons. I'd check out our article here -- www.bodhisurfyoga.com/best-time-of-year-to-visit-uvita-costa-rica As well, if you're interested in exploring any packages, we have them outline at our site here: www.bodhisurfyoga.com/

Great location, super cool vibes. Travis was very accommodating and worked with my schedule even though we didn’t have the numbers for a class. Luis, my instructor was chill, supportive and just about perfect at pushing my boundaries safely. My only downside was my own. Should have prepared better cardio. I plan on some more individual lessons as soon as the surfs right. Next trip I hope to bring my wife for some yoga classes. I don’t think you can go wrong with these folks.

I usually just tell people to position yourself in front of a wave with your ass higher than your shoulders, for brevity's sake, but this instruction is much better in the details. I would add to thank the ocean each time before you enter, but that is a personal decision. I look at it as trying to stay on the good side of what can be a great and powerful friend.

But wait! How do i bloody stop??? On a crowded beach that is very important!
@teammurdoch Жыл бұрын
Practice duck diving as you are propelled on the wave, and letting the wave carry your body and legs over your head as you tuck your head and do a somersault roll, leaving you behind the wave when you come up to the surface. Just make sure it's deep enough when doing this so you don't injure yourself by hitting sand below!
@BodhiSurfYoga Жыл бұрын
Yes, that is very important. There are several ways to stop. Hit up our pal Spencer via thebodysurfblog.com/ and I'm sure you'll get a few great answers! More to come soon!
