Super helpful video! If you’ve already done the bleaching you can start around 5 mins for the color melt

Add 09v and you wont have green hues because the green is from the yellow and violet cancels yellow

Okay you did the grayish part on purpose. Got ya. I’m just going to do dark purple and lavender. Thought about doing purple low lights but, have to see how my hair feels before I do yet another process on my hair.

how long did this color stay in your hair? I used pravana once, it was blue and I also diluted it. but it washed out in about a week

Emily Horne it didn't last long :( about a week also. I have yet to find a lavender that sticks longer than that

you should have cancelled all that yellow out with 07v in shades eq. then put the silver on.

Kiera b you can purchase it at local beauty supply stores, but you'll need your cosmetology license. If not I'm sure you can order it online.

Tanya Jay yes! Something too high will damage your hair and something too low will not get it light enough.

eeeeee, I don't mean to be rude. but with olaplex you bump up the developer, and with shades you should be using their developer

that Joico Bleach is intense though - i've used it on my own resistant level 3 hair in a foil and it got my hair to level 9 in 45 min under a rollerball on medium heat.

Brett DeGroat she can use it with other developer that would change from Demi to permanent! I have seen one of the best hairdresser doing the same thing

About 30 minutes :) everyone's hair is different so some people's hair might require longer (mine had already been bleached a few times before). I wouldn't leave it on longer than an hour and just watch it to make sure the condition feels ok.

Jaymi Brooks don’t cover your hair when you are letting it process. Better your bleach dry out than your hair fall off! Do a pull test pretty often. If it starts to feel even a tiny bit gummy wash immediately. If you don’t know what I mean by gummy watch some hair bleach fails on KZbin.

why add conditioner

Add the conditioner to dilute the color, that way you get more of a soft lavender hint at your ends. Pravana Violet is super strong so just a drop with a cup of conditioner gives you a great lavender tone.

Michelle Kaufman blue cancels orange and purple cancels yellow. Violet cancels both.

Thank you! The small single application boxes of olaplex are about $12. They contain the #1, 2, and 3 which is usually plenty for my hair.
