How come the left stopped protesting when Ardern signed up to it?
@rukiaa68476 жыл бұрын
The protesters disrespected a place that deserves its respect _and carried out something completely futile

There's nothing good in the TPPA for anyone, well, with the exception of multi-nationals. They're coming out of the shadows. The REAL rulers. One ring to rule them all! Well, it's time for the return of the king!!!!! And, I'm not talking about Peter "New Zealand" Jackson's movie trilogy.

Because John Key is an ex Wall St Banker and an Obama US puppet plant like the new Aussie Prime minister!

Wow! Impressively shows that there is nothing good in the TPPA for New Zealand and a whole lot that is bad. $2.7billion turns out to be (a) untrue and (b) peanuts compared to expected growth of the economy even if it was true. So basically we're throwing away our ability to make our own laws, to protect the environment, to get people affordable healthcare ... and so on ... and for what? A mess of pottage? Mr Key's ego? Making Mr Key's rich mates even richer? For nothing that's any use to 99% of us, that's for sure.

Well, Charles, this is true for anyone who signs, and that includes the USA, those on main street, of course, and benefiting those on Wall Street. There's a reason that over 600 companies took part in writing this horrible agreement. Anything and everything for profits.

sorry but I don't believe what she's saying, tons of conflicting info flying around. I will believe that tpp has been defeated or it becoming law has been delayed when I hear it and I'm certain I'll hear obama say "a success for america and its citizens" or some bullshit on feb 4th.
@11vinci9 жыл бұрын
+Anon Myous Yes. We all know Obama is just a puppet. Whatever the shadow government want, they will get.
@GriningLewdist9 жыл бұрын
11vinci well he signed the damn thing today, now its when will tpp change law because all those corrupt asses want to approve the ratification at different times, either in a few months, this summer, near the end of this year or or next year.

Anon Myous So many blind sheep thinking this is great for the country too.

She says they're dozens of votes short in the lower House of Representatives, and without approval by the US Congress, there won't be a trade deal.
@1970brenz9 жыл бұрын
+sonicspring Yes but Obama doesn't always run everything he does by Congress. He is extremely deceitful and reckless from past actions as far as I've seen. What does NZ really have that's of any interest to America?
@sonicspring64489 жыл бұрын
Safe(er) havens for when the shtf, a nice little place to test market some of their ideas, beautiful landscapes and nature, geographical position for intercepting Asian internet etc. I think they're a bit scared of NZ too, as it can show leadership in ways that threaten the US geopolitical program like NZ's antinuclear stance in the 1980s. Yep, a few things.
