That CBR was my 1st liter bike. I was so intimidated for nothing. Well the 1st streetbike i ever rode was a zx10 and from hopping off a dirtbike to bent over and weight on my wrists was weird enough. But i owned nothing but literbikes for 10yrs now and i really prefer not shifting all the time and having that extra power available even if im not using it all. And nice to go insane every now and then.

If you know how to shift clutch and ride anything on 2 wheels it's nothing to do with the bike. It's about you being smart. If you have the $ get a liter bike. They're more forgiving on the street. The 600 you actually need to be alot more alert and constantly shifting all the time. Both will kill you just as quick if you wack the throttle or pop your clutch in 1st or 2nd gear. All modern bikes have riding modes to tame it down. Don't be hopping on no 1st or 2nd gen liter bike. Just because it's 150hp don't mean it won't rip your arms off and send u somewhere u don't wanna be.
