The thumb piece is for use when stashing the thin comb makes it like a razor type slasher if needed.

Congrats on 50 subscribers! 🥳 Really random to hear my name pop up haha, I appreciate the kind words! That Boker USB was my first OTF as well, I have a bunch now but it was a great intro to OTFs. It’s actually OEM’d by CobraTec for Boker so gives a good idea of what their OTFs feel like.
