That is so messed up if the alarm bell wont operate if the doors are open. There are still so many elevator emergencies that can happen with the door open.

UPDATE: this bus has now gone to Spondon Scrapyard to be scrapped due to a small engine fire while working the DRT service so 272 has now replaced it

Maintained By Triangle Lift Services I'm Local To Wellingborough I Will Tell You It's Slowly Getting Modernised I Emailed Pickerings Over The Lift At Wellingborough Morrisons and They Told Me They No Longer Own Or Have Responsibility For The Lift At Wellingborough Morrisons and Apparently Morrisons Hired Triangle Lift Services To Be The Lift Maintenance Contractors At Their Wellingborough Store It Was Installed In 2001 When I Was Aged 1 and They Recently Just Opened Half The Lights In The Lift Car Are Broken and The Doors Slam Shut With A Bang The Only Parts Of The Lift That Have Been Modernised Are The Door Tracks With The Pickerings Logo And The Call Control Panels Everything Inside The Lift Car Park Is Still Original Triangle Lift Services Actually Have A Lack Of Poor Maintenance On This Lift Which Is Why I Don't Like Them Or Trust Them

Been here a good few times over the years. I recently uploaded the full set here if you’re interested and some identical ones at the Harrogate store. 😄 Feel free to check them out! Also, when I get round to uploading it I’ve done a full set on the O&K Kone escalators similar to these at the M&S and Selfridges in Manchester. The O&K and Kone RTV series are my favourite commercial grade escalator by a long way and you’ll find hundreds on my channel. 👍

I can’t stand this lift I love the 1 opposite I don’t understand why it’s so popular nobody uses it hardly when I’m there and it’s not safe 2 ride it’s jumpy bouncy rickety and all sorts I rarely ride it and I got stuck in it once and hurt my hand on opening the doors but if you like it that’s ok

Wow, never seen a platform lift that old! Especially the different fixtures are awesome! And it's even one that moves by itself after pressing it and self opening doors, instead of dumb nowaday ones where you have to hold the button and push the door open. They were either bodges, or original. Either way, reasonable characterful (kinda) for a platform lift!
