Disappointed with the AI narration. A person narrating these books, make a huge difference in the story. The emotion and excitement they can add is much better than monotone AI.

Is this AI? The narrator jumps and skips and speaks in a high voice for the male parts. Makes me think it’s robotic. 😢

Thank you, I enjoyed it. (The AI, though it seems to have improved, keeps repeating certain sentences throughout the production. 😂)

Story has good basic plot. But like it was written for 8th graders. Could have been a deep rich story with more development, deeper characters… maybe it was written by a computer AI in learning mode…lol🧐😘l

I’m not keen on this narrator. She’s Ai again….cant pronounce ‘ renaig’ let alone deliver the story with proper feeling…what a shame. I’ll press on - humph!? I just find I can’t listen to a lot of books anymore and then they’re out of sequence…as some are Ai and some not…

I like the story, but the Paiutes live in Nevada, not Canada. It's important to be historically accurate. Some people care.

You need to have read a previous book of this series to know that some of the grandmother's family moved North to Canada some years before.

@@colly1952 Okay. That explains it, but an unlikely scenario. Most Paiutes I knew, living near two of their reservations, would not have been so motivated nor funded. They spent their money on booze and drugs, let their government-supplied homes run down. It is sad. This is a beat down people with little pride nor hope. One part of their tribe, on a third reservation, cheated my husband's construction company out of several hundred K because they could. Their reservations are sovereign. I wish I'd come to know a good, sensible Paiute. I hope they're out there. I want to believe this. Likely, there are. There are always exceptional people. Still, the scenario of a Paiute moving to Canada is far-fetched.
